Probably what it says - a bug in the system's dynanic loader. Try upgrating it (or the whole system). Another possibility - that your script is the reason (as the message says, you start producing output before sending any HTTP headers, such as Content: etc.) So check your script (run in from command line maybe to see what it outputs). Sound on SuSE
Hello! I use at home SuSE 6.3 (No updates to the kernel). I have an AWE64 sound card. But I think it's not so important for this problem. Anyway, I managed to install ALSA (the newest) and make it work, but only under root. Don't be mistaken I made "chmod a+rx /dev/mixer" (or something like that) how kde ask. So, it helps to start the mixer, but sound I still don't have a regular user. What I do have on a regular user is the microphone working, when I talk to it I can hear my self over the speakers, but that's it. No audio, MIDI, and etc. I wish you to help me. (P.S. I didn't forget to make "modprobe -a snd-card-sb16" and for "snd-pcm-oss" first as a root) Noam Meltzer [EMAIL PROTECTED] = To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I don't usually post these kind of things, but it was just too amusing. http://www.zipworld.com.au/~zem/images/bsod-1.jpg -- "You will now die. And administering over 100 NT servers you'd think I know that. Oh wait, I do. (Wait! Don't stone me to death just yet). FYI: You can also recover from a BSOD if you're running with debug symbols. Another FYI: A GPF is also commonly referred to as a BSOD, see http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/jargon/html/entry/Blue-Screen-of-Death.html Enough. Laptop troubles
Hi Everyone, I have some laptop problems here, and would very much appreciate any help. I have a new Chicony laptop. I've managed to install RedHat 6.0, however X refuses to start. I downloaded the latest X, which supposedly supports the graphics card (a Silicon Motion LynxEM SMI 711) but couldn't get it to work. I tried both using the new frame buffer device and "standard" x, but neither seem to work. What would really make my day is the /etc/XF86Config from someone with this (or similar) laptop model. Otherwise, any other pointers on running linux on laptop will be appreciated, especially since I haven't messed yet with neither pcmcia (for the network and modem cards) nor apm. TIA! -- mulix. email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] linux/reboot.h: #define LINUX_REBOOT_MAGIC1 0xfee1dead = To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: Laptop troubles
Well, let me try to help here (although I don't have Chicony Laptop) Grab the latest X server (SVGA) and XConfigurator from the PIGLET (Redhat 6.2 beta) - this should solve your problem. Oh, in Redhat XF86Config sits on /etc/X11/ - not /etc/ Hetz mulix wrote: Hi Everyone, I have some laptop problems here, and would very much appreciate any help. I have a new Chicony laptop.
