Re: Problem with VMWare fusion on Mavericks
Hello Esther, You are a marvel! Many thanks for the attached. I tried your suggestion of setting the fusion network adapter to automatic and that fixed my problem of fusion 5 on Mavericks not connecting to the Internet. My Windows 7 virtual machine takes a long time to boot up but then it works reasonably fast. As I seldom use Windows I will not upgrade to fusion 6 at this time. So many many thanks for the attached and also for your help to access mouse over items on the sing Chandlers Ford web site. Apparently this solves the network connection issues under VMWare 5.03 running under Mavericks for many people. However, there are also reports that some VM systems are running with higher CPU usage and fans coming on compared to the same systems running under version 6. These reports seem to vary, so just monitor your own performance specs for your Mac. HTH. Re: Problem with VMWare fusion on Mavericks
I would say upgrade to Fusion 6 as perhaps the network infrastructure has changed in Mavericks.
