Re: the new ios
Hi, Yes, this is correct. This particular focus issue has been throughout betas of iOS 5.1 builds, also plaguing every one of them for the most part. It still has not been resolved, as you can tell. I'd recommend that when you unlock the phone, wait just a second before moving to another icon. If you don't, it'll sometimes activate the icon which quickly gains focus prior to the iOS device moving to the original focused element. This bug used to be a lot more prevalent, however, so it's hopefully not as annoying anymore. Ok all. It's working now. I guess the servers were busy. It is now downloading as I speak. I just went back and went into Software Update again and the update showed up. Very nice! RE: the new IOS update, 5.01, is out
Just wait and it will bring up a box saying download and install. Now doing this on the device I would think that you would have to be using Icloud for backup or it would not have aback up to put your device back to and it would do it as a new device I would think. Re: the new IOS update, 5.01, is out
Be forwarned that it will take about 10 to 20 minutes after the phone is rebooting. I would plug your phone in to power in case your phone is low on battery. Also I notice that vo tends to crash a lot with this update where you flick and don't hear anything the fix is to reset the spring board but I hate doing that even though it is quick. Re: the new IOS update, 5.01, is out
When I pressed the update button on my iphone, without having it plugged in first, I got a dialogue about plugging it in. I updated my ipod touch 4G from the touch itself, but no warning dialogue as I already knew to plug it in.
