For the iPhone I use the official Twitter client. Thanks to iOS 5 which
has native Twitter integration this means you can tweet from places like
Safari but you can also manage your Twitter accounts easily as the
official client can use the details stored in settings.

Re: Twitter recommendation

2011-11-04 Thread Mrs. Lynnette Annabel Smith
Hello Ian

Despite all the talk about other clients, we still find Syrix the best for Mac
OSX. Others will write and tell you that it doesn't support all functions.
That's probably true; but for us, it works fine.

Google it if you want to try it, or else I'll try and find our original disk
image and send you it.

Incidentally, feel free to add us if you like; our ID id
maciosaccess
and that goes for anybody else on list.

Lynne

I see where you're coming from but given the thousands of pieces of software
available for the Mc there's usually a third party utility or tool around which
is accessible, in the case of Twitter clients there are several including my

2011-10-11 Thread Jane
I don't use the official Twitter client for the Mac. I use one that has a veyr
long, unpronounceable name. YoruFukurou

I call it Night Owl, because eveyr one else seems to, but that long name is ow
you find it in the app store. It is easy to use. You sign in with your
Twitter credentials, authorize the app, and you're on your way. You can
explore the menus and get keyboard shortcuts for just about everything.

Re: twitter

2011-10-05 Thread Nicolai Svendsen
Hi!

You can also get YoruFukurou off of the App Store.

http://itunes.apple.com/dk/app/yorufukurou/id428834068?mt=12

Additionally, here's the link to the application from their website.
http://aki-null.net/yf/YoruFukurou_SL.zip

This is the same as distributed on the App Store.

Nic

You're talking about the YoruFukurou Twitter client right?

Yep, that would have to be about the best and most accessible Twitter
client for the Mac now as far as I know though its one which requires the
user learn how it works as he/she uses it.

Another good Twitter client for the Mac is Syrinx and there's another
which is "Shareware" called Twiterific.
