Re: Incredible PBX and Bria or other sip phone apps.
Hi so the problem is that when connecting to a SIP server the brea process needs to stay active and communicate with the server. It doesn’t fall asleep so battery drain is higher. I’ve noticed this with most SIP apps that can un in the background. Apps that run only when opened draw less but then don’t ring if the phone is locked or the app isn’t in the foreground. Bria is one of the best. The same company, counterpath makes XLite as well which is a good free client. I use this on the Mac successfully. Good luck. > On Mar 13, 2017, at 10:05 AM, Singing Sparrowwrote: > > What other Sip phone IOS apps will work with incredible PBX? > I have Bria the paid version and it seems to want to drain my Iphone 7Plus > battery quickly. > Does anyone have any other ideas as to how I can fix this? > > -- > The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries > list. > > If you have any questions or concerns about the running of this list, or if > you feel that a member's post is inappropriate, please contact the owners or > moderators directly rather than posting on the list itself. > > Your Mac Visionaries list moderator is Mark Taylor. Re: Creating email folders and labels
Are you making the rules on your macintosh, or on the Gmail site? I don't think there is a "skip inbox" function on the Macintosh rules, but I haven't played with them lately. The Macintosh mail rules have a copy and move function. So the move function would be like the Google's skip inbox. Most likely what is happening is that the Macintosh rules only run on unread e-mails when Mail is retrieving messages. So if you first read a message on your IOS device and than it gets retrieved by the Mac the rule does not run. Re: teamTalk and PTT key
Hello, the control key can be assigned when voiceover is turned on. I did this for Ventrilo a long time ago and it worked just fine. Sent with AquaMail for Android http://www.aqua-mail.com On March 12, 2017 7:35:27 PM Chris Moorewrote: Hello, TeamTalk 5 is a chat client/server program. Although most people seem to run it either windows or IOS, there is also a mac os version which appears to have at least limited accessibility. My question is what key to assign for PTT. Windows computers use the control key, but I don’t know if this will work on the mac because it is part of the VO key combination of control + option.
