Numbers Question

2020-12-31 Thread 'Larry Honaker' via MacVisionaries
A question for the Numbers expert out there:

How can I edit a formula which has a cell reference to another sheet?

I can edit normal formulas which refer to cells on the same sheet, but I cannot
figure out how to change the extended sheet reference in the new
formula—VoiceOver says it ok, but I am not able to edit it.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Airport Express odd behaviour.

2020-12-31 Thread Anders Holmberg
Hi!
I have a very strange issue with my Airport Express.
I don’t know if someone can help me but here goes:
I bought a new Asus AX RT-58U router and this works like a charm.
My airport express worked like a charm with it too until recently when it
starting bothering me.
I can play music through the device with no problem but after like 5 or 6
minutes the Airport Express stops streaming the music and when I try to
reconnect to continue the streaming it seems that the airport Express can not
be seen.
On my Ipad it says that the device is no longer available.
When I go and open the airport utility I get a device no longer available
message there too.
After like 10 minutes or so the airport express is visible again and the same
thing happen when I try to play music through the device.
Nothing seems to be unnormal so I am not sure.
/A

iPhone5S Doesn't Ring?

2020-12-31 Thread Fazil
Hi, Group.

I have iPhone5S with iOS12.50 and iPhone8 with iOS14.3.

iPhone8 is the main phone that has the SIM from the provider. Whenever the
main phone rings, the secondary phone rings too if both are on the same
network under the same Apple ID.

I think I have done something wrong somewhere that is why my iPhone5S (the
secondary phone) does not ring to an incoming call when iPhone8 rings.

How can I undo my mistake if there is any, please?

Thanks!

Yes. Mine does. It has a 4G modem, but there's no SIM card installed, so

2020-12-31 Thread Chris Westbrook
I was wondering if anyone has noticed that it is really hard to stop
voiceover during a say all vo+a? I tried hitting control, but it just keeps
on going. I've tried doing a two finger single tap on the trackpad with
the same results. It seems like I have to do something like going to a new
tab or another mac activity for it to stop. Not a huge deal, but I was
curious if other people were running into this.

Re: Pairing & Switching Device With Logitech K480?

2020-12-31 Thread 'Andrew Lamanche' via MacVisionaries
Hello Fazil,

I have once had logitech k380 and if things are similar, once you power the
keyboard on, functionkeys f1 f2 f3 can be assigned to different bluetooth
devices. Once you decide which of the 3 function keys you want to use to pair
with a device, hold it down for a few seconds while the device you are pairing
with is searching for devices and your keyboard should appear in the device
bluetooth choices. you can then do the same with another function key if you
wish to pair with a 2nd and 3rd device. Once the pairing has been achieved,
you press an appropriate function key for 1 second to connect to the
corresponding device.

Re: additional voices?

2020-12-31 Thread 'Shawn Krasniuk' via MacVisionaries
I used to like the Tom voice when he was the voice found on your NOAA Weather
Radio stations in the States. At least he sounded more human. Nowadays he
sounds very boring to me. But like they always say, voices are subjective. By
the way, if I could go a little off topic here, we were supposed to get the Tom
and Ava voices for our weather radio here in Canada. Instead, I was surprised
to find out that all weather radio stations here are going off the air in
February or March. Oh well.

 Hi Shawn,
 Thanks for that information.
My personal situation is that, due to experiencing a rather unique

does not at best stimulate my brain's dizzy centres, or at worst create
something a bit like a Cesar.
My last try, in March, involved a siri voice on an Iphone, which made me
 rather sick indeed.
for the moment Hardware, gosh I wish someone had saved the digital
dectalk voices, as I use a hardware decktalk voice now, seems safer than
software strict like Ios...believe me its complex even for my medical team.
What I hoped for from the list was frequency related information anything
that might hint at quality before I try.
I would not be using a strict 64 bit edition of Macos regardless for
other reasons. Still, I imagine there are at least 20 or more options
just in the regular non-siri voices.
 Thanks,
