I don’t use Text edit, but I just gave it a quick test, and it prompts to save
or delete the file if I exit the editor without saving. (“Save”, “delete”,
“Cancel”).

That should be clear enough.

Looking for a File that I am editing?

2022-12-15 Thread Fazil M.
Hi, Group.

I heard that Mac saves files automatically.

Well I am editing a file in Text Edit.

I switched to mail, got an attachment and saved it.

It was a text file and I wanted to copy some text from this attachment in
order to paste it in the file I am editing/typing. I did not save the file I
am editing but I am not finding it. Can I find it in any way?

Your help is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi,
1 Do you have a free license?
2 Did you download a Windows 10 ISO?
If yes to both questions, Choose new from the file menu to create a new VM.

Re: help with registering the community addition of VMware fusion?

2022-12-15 Thread 'E.T.' via MacVisionaries

Maurice,
If you got the Player version, its the right one. The problem I
suspect is the web page where one gets the free license is not working
correctly. When I upgraded ti version 13, the registration dialog came
up and I clicked the last link I think it was and got the web page.
Could not do anything more. So I restored back to version 12. I didn't
encounter a captcha.

You can try the more button and see if that helps, but given that is a movie

Re: VMware Fusion Vs Virtualbox.

Ok, I think I’ve somewhat managed to get the installation process started,
after some playing around and having to allow my system settings access to my
accessibility settings and turning the switch on to VMware Fusion, which I had
no idea about. So I’ve allowed VMware access to everything it’s popped up so
far, and now I’m at some weird window that’s saying something about “enter

“VMware has no windows.” Can someone please explain this?

Ok, I’m sure everyone is probably tired of hearing about this, but wanted
to give a heads-up. I managed to finally find a direct link to download
the 64-bit ISO file from Microsoft, and think I managed to locate the
right file regarding VMware Fusion, considering at the moment, I’m just
wanting to run everything in trial mode just to see how it does. I also
have downloaded NVDA and just have everything just sitting in my downloads
 folder.
So at this point, my question is, after I start the installation process
and I eventually get to the point where there’s no longer speech, how do I
go about installing NVDA, or would I be better off launching team viewer,
and having an Aira agent help me do the remainder?
