Yes, there are only the standard menu choices that are there in every instance of the right click menus in the finder. No special dropbox menus or menu items. I've even tried going in from the finder by opening a hard drive and then using the side bar to go to the dropbox menu. Re: to the user having issues with their Drop box and sharing files
There wouldn't be a dropbox menu under vo-shift-m. If you go into your dropbox directory and do vo-shift-m on one of the items, there is a whole menu of items as you arrow down or do vo-down-arrow, and in there you will find a share link as well as a share folder and a share that has email, message and airdrop under it. If you are focussed on a dropbox item and don't get the menu when you do vo-shift-m, it means something in your focus isn't working properly. What usually works for me under these circumstances is to turn cursor tracking off and back on again. Just to cover the bases, there is also a dropbox menu in your menu extras (vo-m (not shift-m for this) twice. This shows settings and recently added and various information and options. This is sometimes tricky to access, more so than other menu extras items. For me, vo-shift-space on this menu usually gets me into this area, but this is a totally different thing than the sharing you are asking about. Re: to the user having issues with their Drop box and sharing files
Hi, I'm sorry but no, there aren't such menu choices under vo+shift+m on any file in the drop box folder. There are the usual finder commands like duplicate, burn, copy etc but nothing like what you describe at all. They used to be under a sub menu there called dropbox but that sub menu isn't there anymore and no such commands under the root vo+shift+M menu adn if i were to go into the share option, the only things i find are message, airdrop and i believe email nothing about link or folder. /Krister 3 okt 2014 kl. 18:52 skrev Cheryl Homiak cah4...@icloud.com: There wouldn't be a dropbox menu under vo-shift-m. Re: to the user having issues with their Drop box and sharing files
Open Finder, find Dropbox in the sidebar, navigate to the desired file in the right pane, vo shift m to bring up the shortcut/context menu. The share item is on that menu.
