MD: Shuffle on G750
Hi, I have just observed that the shuffle repeat track order is always the same on the same disc! So if I have heard one disc with shuffle then next time I insert the disc and hear it with shuffle the track order will be the same. I have tried with a disc with 58 tracks the order was always 1, 3, 7, 15, 31, 42, 41, 38, 25... and even if I first hear track 3 then the order will be the same so the next tracks will be 7, 15, 31, etc :-) and if I began at track 31 then the next tracks will be 42, 41, 38... etc Have anyone similiar experiences with other portables or decks ? Re: MD: MDS-PC3
I maybe wrong but it should work with WinME usually all programs that work with Win98SE will work with WinME. Did you try installing it? Just try it and see what happens. Btw, send us your thoughts on the unit too. --icantelu - Original Message - From: "Taky Cheung" [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, March 27, 2001 12:36 PM Subject: MD: MDS-PC3 I ordered MDS-PC3 from Video Direct. Is there a version of the MCrew software for made Windows Me or Windows 2000? I found a link from search engine but it's invalid. Re: MD: MDS-PC3
I know all programs for 98 should work on Me. Just curious if they have a version made for Me. But I would love to use the unit on Windows 2000. Does anybody know a link to download M-Crew for Windows 2000? The package comes with a couple to get a free Sony PC to MD USB kit. It seems like it convert PC audio to MD using USB but the output is analog. What does it good for? Re: MD: Second attempt.
You could buy one, check it out and return it. It isn't the best way to do it. just a thought. YOu might get stuck with a second unit. Of course you could always sell one of them if you get them both working and decide to keep the second one. I don't know if they use SCMS, but they use something. You can not copy DVDs onto most VHS recorders these days because they're protected. Of course, there are programs that disable copy protection on DVD (email me privately and i'll sort you out if you're into that) and so if you have a DVD drive in computer with a board that has rca video and audio outputs, you can copy DVD onto VHS. If you're tired of the bad dvd selection at your rental store, and don't want to buy every movie you want to watch, I highly recommend netflix.com. They have some really great concerts too which you can of course record onto minidisc. I record some movies (those that have good sounds in them) onto minidisc on the MDLP setting and use them for samples. Movies likes 13th warrior or U-571 have some really great samples in them and they come clean off of DVD. There are also programs that can "rip" dvd tracks, and yet other programs that can convert that ripped file to AVI, or VCD-spec mpeg1 for burning VCDs (which most DVD players can play). I've learned and used them. They work, but they are *very* slow. mainly because they are built by hackers around codecs that were originally built for other programs such as adobe premier. - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

You can not copy DVDs onto most VHS recorders these days because they're protected. That's macrovison man. A totally analogue copy protection scheme that's been around since the late 80s at least, not just on DVD, but VHS as well. It is a bunch of gobly gook that resided in the vertical blanking buffer on old VHS tapes that screws up the signal for copies, but not laserdisc (since that part of the signal is used for time info). In DVDs it is actually generated by the hardware (I assume) since it's possible to turn it on and off. MD: JVC XU-301 ejecting minidiscs
I have a practically new JVC XU-301 MD-CD combination deck that is suddenly ejecting all minidiscs after trying to read theirTOC's. All the track numbers on the "music calendar" display remain lit. I tried reseting the unit by leaving it unplugged for an hour, but that doesn't help. Any advice from someone with this deck or a similar problem with another deck?
