DNS resolvernya diganti dengan yang lebih kuat misalkan: 
202.162.220.220, 202.162.220.110; setidaknya dihapus isian DNS IP 
202.62.9.103.

Periksa lagi smtp-in log setelah Mon 2024-04-22 14:53:00, apakah ada 
transaksi mail lagi dari sender t...@dwiprima.co.id.
Kalau tidak ada, artinya sender server tidak mengikuti regulasi internet 
yang ada, bisa dikirimi email saja untuk kirim ulang mail yang gagal 
kirim di tanggal Mon 2024-04-22

Saya tidak pasang Antivirus eksternal di server ini, hanya antivirus MDAV.

Dan setelah saya cek ulang message chunking dari domain lain banyak yang

Yang mempengaruhi data transfer terputus adalah tcp filtering, dalam hal 
ini antivirus.
Kalau ada antivirus for file terinstall, pastikan tidak  menggaktifkan 
realtime scanning.
Antivirus di MDaemon (MDAV) melakukan scanning setelah selesai data 
transfer, tidak mengganggu transfer data; boleh tetap dipakai.

Sender memutus koneksi sebelum kirim mail data.

Kalau internet server normal (mengikuti regulasi Internet Mail), akan 
otomatis retry to send.
Tetapi kelihatannya sender itu run dibelakang firewall (atau smtp proxy) 
sehingga mail servernya tidak tahu ada masalah koneksi tcp yang terputus 
(yang tahu adalah firewall/proxy) dan tidak ada notifikasi ke original 
sender.


Jadi lebih baik minta ke sender untuk kirim ulang (resend) mail yang 
gagal kirim tersebut.

Kalau bisa lokasi MX backup berada di Indonesia atau Asia Timur/Tenggara 
atau Amerika utara bagian Barat.


MX backup harus bisa (tetap) terima mail untuk allowed domain sekalipun 
Primary MX domain sedang down atau unreachable (koneksi internetnya 
putus/bermasalah).

Karena domain lain tidak pakai DNS record yang panjang/besar.

DNS query ada 3 macam yang standard
1. DNS over UDP (standard)

Untuk query DNS record yang besarnya kurang dari 512 Byte.

2. DNS over EDNS (UDP)

Untuk query DNS record yang besarnya lebih 512 byte s.d 1440 byte.

3. DNS over TCP

Untuk quert DNS record yang besarnya lebih 512 byte dan DNSSec (DNS secure).

DNS masa depan: DOH (DNS over HTTPS) dan DOT (DNS over TLS).
Yang terakhir ini masih tahap trial, dan belum disupport MDaemon (status 
masih Wishlist).
Digunakan untuk mengatasi DNS hijacking yang banyak diterapkan oleh ISP 
di Indonesia, China, Rusia, Iran dan beberapa negara lain.


DNS over TCP diperlukan untuk check SPF, DKIM, DMARC atau PGP/SMIME yang 
recordnya memang panjang, macam SPF recordnya asiaf.co.id

Saya kuatir tidak ada, karena masalahnya ada di sender host yang
diletakkan dibelakang firewall.

Kirim mail dari server yang diletakkan dibelakang firewall yang buruk
settingnya (tidak bisa di ping dan atau telnet ke port 25) ke server
penerima yang diletakkan dibelakang firewall juga probabilitas gagalnya
memang besar, apalagi jika salah satu server punya kapasitas kanal
(bandwidth) kecil.

Idle time out yang menghitung (start) adalah sender host bukan receiver,

ISP atau mail hoster) yang nantinya meneruskan mail ke server Anda.
Umumnya server ISP tidak run dibelakang firewall atau tidak mengaktifkan
firewall tcp filtering dan kapasitas kanal internet mereka besar
sehingga probabilitas terima mail dari sender host yang diletakkan
dibelakang firewall akan membesar.

Berdasar penjelasan Bapak berikut benar bahwa  sender host yang melalui 
*protection.outlook.com sebagai contoh sbb

Sebagian besar gagal terdelivery pada hari ini ke user Pak. Apakah ada setting 
yang khusus di MD untuk mengatasi masalah ini Pak? Apakah ada pengaruhnya 
dengan bandwith traffic saat transmisi data atau ada pembatasan idle time di 
sisi firewall sender dll Pak ?. Mohon petunjuk yang efektif untuk mengatasi hal 
ini karena email2 yang urgent gagal terdelivery ke user dan harus diresend 
ulang. 
Apakah yang harus saya sampaik ke pengelola email sender agar bisa bisa 
diresolve untuk penyesuain setting untuk masalah kami berikut Pak.

tahu bahwa pengiriman gagal karena ada masalah koneksi tcp/ip protocol
sehingga tidak resent. Ini khas server outlook.com.
Jadi kalau setelah 2x24 jam tidak terima juga, minta resend saja ke
original sender.

[MDaemon-L] Email Tidak Diterima User

Dear Pak Syafril,

 

User saya tidak menerima email dengan salah satu subject.  Dan sebelumanya
pada hari ini user bisa menerima email dari sender dengan normal.  Dan
setelah saya investigasi smtp-in log bersdasarkan  sender dan jam pada saat
mengirim, saya temukan error berikut. Apakakah penyebab undelivery untuk
mail tersebut berdasarkan log berikut. Apakah dikarenakan koneksi internet
yang mengalami gangguan pada saat transmisi. ? Apakah kalo gagal dilakukan
resend lagi atau tidak Pak ??  Mohon pencerahaanya.

Retry queue itu untuk outbound mail, message hops count mendeteksi mail
loops incoming mail.

Ok pak saya coba ganti dulu ke 28 MaxMessageHops

tidak melebihi max hop limit (bawaan install MDaemon = 20).

Ini artinya terdeteksi adanya mail loop, bisa disisi MDaemon Anda atau
di sender server.
Untuk memastikan periksa ke mail header mail di bad queue folder.

Saya cek ternyata masuk di Bad Queue 
Dengan reason : "Message Exceeds Max Hoop Limit" >> Ko kaya masuk ke retry
queue ya pak ? padahal di log nya berhasil ?
