2008-11-12 Thread OK Don
OK - I used to deal with them (both) when I was a working pro - but
that was at least 15 years ago, and things can change. Glad to hear
that they haven't. I even visited B&H when in NYC once - it's not just
a mail order store - lots of displays, people running around all over
the place to help you. Talked quite awhile with one older man about my
Linhof 8X10, though he didn't have what I needed.
Yes - KEH always graded their stuff lower than I would have. Must of
my Leica accessories came from them.

I need to sell some of this old stuff to help pay for the D700 - OK, I
need to sell most of it - it's just sitting here, and isn't worth much
anymore.
I traded my last Mamiya stuff for my first hard drive - a 20MB ST225.
I did sell most of the Hassy gear before the bottom fell out of the
film camera market though.

1997 Olds underAchieva, 2.4L twincam. I put a muffler and the tires on within a

of the freeway ramp about 3/4 mile from town, at 32psi I dropped from 50 mph at
the top to 37 mph at the city limits with the old tires, with the Altimax I was
doing 33-34. With the Altimax at 42, it's still rolling 37-38 at the city limits.

Never again got quite the same mpg as the first couple of weeks I owned the car,
I think replacing the muffler with the fist sized hole in it cost me mileage.
Should have saved my money and had a straight pipe made for it instead of buying
a custom fit Walker muffler. (factory muffler was $400, Walker was $80, straight
pipe would have been $20)

[MBZ] your government at its absolute finest

2008-11-12 Thread Gary Hurst
my ex wife is a distasteful hysteric who gives nothing and always wants
more, more and more. it's not a great thing, but no real rarity either. my
kid doesn't like her very much, so rather than try to pacify mom so she will
go away, she pushes every button she can to get her mother totally over the
top. one thing my kid likes to do is simple and absolute defiance.

the ex wife is having people over for thanksgiving and the kid simply will
not clean her room. this has been going on for nearly 3 weeks. i am
enlisted to provide support. i show up, try to get hte kid to do anything,
she does little, so i announce my failure and offer to leave hanging my head
in shame.

ex wife doesn't like this idea. she insists i stay and continue to
contribute. she and kid get into typical shouting match. i suggest they
both stfu. they ignore me and i play with cat. during this, ex wife picks
up my yoda walking stick and whacks kid across the arm with it. kid doesn't
like this one bit and walks off sulking in anger.

after this episode, kid cooperates with me a little and room gets cleaner.
caning works! kid is still really pissed off. we go back to my house and
go do some homework. then we go back to mother house where kid goes to
sleep.

next day i get call from school saying that i have to come right away to
pick kid up as she is scared to go to her mother's house. hmmm, well, seems
an odd request in the middle of the day, but what can i do? i am told kid
is walking around complaining that her arm hurt and when asked why this was,
she proceeded to explain that her mom hit her with a stick. then all hell
breaks loose. she is quizzed by everyone about this incident and asked if
she was afraid to go home to her mother. she says "yeah, sure, i'd rather
go to my dad's house" (because i'm a lot more interesting and
entertaining). so i get the call to pick her up immediately and to have no
contact with her mother, to which i explain that of course i'm going to tell
her mother about this.

the school tells me that they are going to convene an emergency meeting
regarding this matter at 8:30 the next morning. me, the ex, the school cop,
the principal and a school counselor are there. the school cop starts by
explaining to the ex how it's against hte law to hit hte kid with a stick
and she ought not do that or there will be trouble for her. the ex says
that she understands that, regrets teh incident and assures him it will
never happen again. the school administrators then basically explain that
they know abby and understand why she got hit by a stick as she is among the
most difficult children they have ever seen. then the cop calls my kid in
and explains that if she keeps behaving this way he will personally handcuff
her and take her to the juvenile court. he urges her mother to call the
cops if this should happen again rather than using the stick.

one would think this was a pretty wise working out of the issue. abby ought
not disrespect her mother and her mother may not hit abby with a stick. if
either doesn't hold up their end, joe lawman will be on them like white on
rice. kid goes back to class, cop leaves and the lizard (ex) and the two
female school administrators discuss using "mr sticky" on kids and conclude
that this is all probably my fault because i suck. outnumbered, i willingly
take the fall and say i'll be more disciplinarian in teh future.

today, this peace may have been shattered when an agent of the gwinnett
county department of family and children's services shows up to interview
young abby about her child abuse case. abby does not have a mark on her
(which is funny as you'd expect someone who has been beaten with a stick to
show considerable injury) and spent the night before at her mother's house
without fear, so one might think this would be a formality. instead she is
grilled one on one for 45 minutes by the case worker, being told that the
dfcs agent knows that she has been severely abused and beaten and that abby
will not be allowed to go home until she admits this to be the case, even if
it takes all night long. at this point, abby doesn't know what the hell to
do, but she continues to say that these allegations are untrue and she will
therefore be unwilling to testify to this effect. after 45 minutes of
constant interrogation, the school counselor walked in and todl abby she was
about to miss her school bus. abby took the opportunity and bolted out.

i am, of course, fuming over this underhanded exercise. to do this to an 11
year old child is unreal ( is this what it means that it takes a village to
raise a child?). i also find it interesting that this is done 1 on 1 with
no other adult present, with no video or audio. just the caseworker and the
child. (interestingly enough, there was another case worker who came there,
but she couldn't stay as "she had to take care of hte car"). i guess it
would be naive to say that i am shocked at how this is the way our
govern

Mitch Haley wrote:

I've got the HPs. Stick much better than the crap that was on the car,
but rolling resistance went up with the new tires. I don't know if it's
from the new tires not being worn thin like the old ones or if the inner
cushion rubber raises rolling resistance. As long as I keep pressure
over 40psi the car rolls OK, but rides a bit harsh. There was a $50 Visa
gift card rebate this summer, so after rebate I paid about $45 each plus
shipping. Can't beat that for H-rated 15" tires.
Some of the reviews I read seemed to think the RTs got a little hard and
lost grip in really cold weather, so I paid an extra $4 per tire (and
gave up some treadwear rating) for the HPs. I have not made the tires
howl or complain since I got the HPs, and I've done some pretty hard
cornering.

Once it fails inspection I have 60 days to try again but I can't
legally drive it an inch from the inspection station once it fails. In
practice

I'm sure I can drive it home and if I'm pulled over I could talk my way
out of a ticket...

If this car is so terrible that a cop can tell it's not roadworthy just by
looking at it, why are you driving it at all?

[MBZ] Daimler 250 V8

2008-11-12 Thread tom tomscat

  Hi Fred and Gerry,
I believe the car you saw was the Daimler 250 V8, basically a tarted up version
of the Jaguar Mark II (fancier fluting on the chrome, etc).
That car had the same Hemi V8 that Daimler put in the SP250. Jaguar bought
Daimler in the early 60's, and eventually deep-sixed
that V8 rather than have it compete with the vaunted Jaguar 6. Jag continued
to use the Daimler badge for its premier models through the 80's,
eventually morphing into the Van Den Plas and later the Sovereign (Majestic
in the UK), I believe. It continued to give these models the highest level of
trim,
including the aforementioned distinctive fluted chrome on the 'bonnet' and the
'boot'. The famous Jaguar 5.2L V12 appeared in the Jaguar Daimler
models as the Daimler Double Six.
That Daimler Hemi that you saw is a very rare bird in the US. Was it for sale,
by any chance? :)

Google: Daimler 250 V8, instead of V250.

Daimler SP250 is the car that I most drooled over when I was
in the UK. The Lady next door had an A.C Cobra and an SP. I thought
she was too old to drive such cars, she may have been 40, not old
from my present point of view! I owned a Mini and wanted, lusted
after, a real sports car. A V8 sexy/slippery looking sports car for me!
Jeeez, I'm getting old!

Can't really do it from ramps, because the wheels usually

Seems like the big red "R" on the inspection sticker is a clue.

When you fail you get a rejected sticker. Its probably going to fail for the
parking brake. He might fail me for the upper ball joints too although I don't
think the joints are loose yet, but the boots are torn and the UCA bushings are
gross. I don't *think* he'll fail me for the rear shock thats soft. Its not bad
like an American car would get but way worse than the others. Replacements for
the UCAs and shocks are on order. I'll fix 'em and get it reinspected pronto.

Sure wish I knew everything like you do though. Life must be so simple.

The 126 market seems to be in the toilet. $2000 looks to buy a pretty nice car.

Totally true! My 1983 300SD isn't worth too much more than the $1300 I
paid for it even though it now has a new lower right ball joint, all new brakes,
new exhaust header, and way better front seats. I would have to spend more to
fix the pached-up non-leaking radiator, dead AC compressor, and dead lock pump
than I would get back from the sale of the car.

rolling resistance went up with the new tires. I don't know if it's from the new
tires not being worn thin like the old ones or if the inner cushion rubber
raises rolling resistance. As long as I keep pressure over 40psi the car rolls
OK, but rides a bit harsh. There was a $50 Visa gift card rebate this summer, so
after rebate I paid about $45 each plus shipping. Can't beat that for H-rated
15" tires.
Some of the reviews I read seemed to think the RTs got a little hard and lost
grip in really cold weather, so I paid an extra $4 per tire (and gave up some
treadwear rating) for the HPs. I have not made the tires howl or complain since
I got the HPs, and I've done some pretty hard cornering.

[MBZ] I am in a buying freeze

2008-11-12 Thread Kaleb C. Striplin
I am absolutely NOT buying anymore cars until I get the ones I have now
substantially thinned down. In fact, Im probably going to be just
selling alot of project cars that I am not going to have time to get to
in the near future, and maybe even some parts cars. Im trying to cure
my sickness somewhat, in fact, Im not even going to look at ebay or
craigslist. I know if I look, I will find something to buy.

[MBZ] 190D Tires

2008-11-12 Thread Kaleb C. Striplin
I was ordering some new tires for the ex Kaleb/Dr
Dan/Kaleb/John/Gene/now Kaleb again 190D and usually look at Kumho;s,
but in the size for that car these General Altimax tires had better
ratings, longer warranty, and were a little cheaper so I ordered them.
Just arrived a little while ago and I installed them with my nifty tire
machine. Short ride down the road seems like they ride MUCH better than
the old worn out dry rotted michelins that were on there.

My wife had to do a rotation at the Manchester VA hosp ("The Manch"), it
gave her considerable insight into NH "culture." And the Manch isn't
even upstate too far. Between that and Boston City Hospital you get a

The 126 market seems to be in the toilet. $2000 looks to buy a pretty nice

Totally true! My 1983 300SD isn't worth too much more than the $1300 I paid
for it even though it now has a new lower right ball joint, all new brakes,
new exhaust header, and way better front seats. I would have to spend more
to fix the pached-up non-leaking radiator, dead AC compressor, and dead lock
pump than I would get back from the sale of the car.

Re: [MBZ] Camera Stores

2008-11-12 Thread Wilton Strickland
Another $100 lesson:

In 1958, I was a B-47E maintenance crew chief (USAF E-3) paid a grand total
of $220 per month. I had a '51 Chevrolet; 'saw a nice-looking, excellent
condition '56 Chevy 4-door sedan on stealer's used car lot; 'made a deal one
day to trade; 'told salesman I'd bring 'im $100 down payment next day. I
worked all night that night getting my aircraft ready for very early morning
launch. Problems with the aircraft delayed launch 'til midafternoon. By
the time I stopped by the stealership I was very tired, had not eaten since
the night before, 'had a headache, etc. As I pulled into stealership yard
near late afternoon, I saw the salesman with whom I had made the trade deal,
pulled up beside and handed him a $100 dollar bill and said, "Down payment
on that '56 Chevrolet. I'll stop by tomorrow afternoon to pick it up." He
replied, "OK, I'll have it ready." Next afternoon, when picking up the
"new" car, I saw that the $100 I had given the salesman the day before was
not on the bill of sale. I asked the salesman, "Where's the $100 I gave you
yesterday afternoon?" The SOB replied, "What $100?" 'Learned my lesson
well.

Re: [MBZ] OT - sort of - Citric acid

2008-11-12 Thread Trampas
Yeap I use the citric acid from Mercedes to clean shower head and shower. It
is great to remove lime from shower and around facets where it seems to
accumulate.

The other thing you can use is vinegar.

I used citric (bought for cleaning the MB cooling systems) on more old
brass fitting today - it removed all the white 'lime' deposits in half
an hour - leaving the fittings looking better than the additional new
one I bought while they were soaking. This solution was probably
rather strong, but it left me with no doubt that the stuff will remove
any lime deposits in our engines..

Re: [MBZ] Rusty's boat payment

2008-11-12 Thread Trampas
Yeap around here in NC they are not nearly as bad, my truck has not been
inspected in 3 years. Of course they are starting to computerize things thus
I will have to get one here shortly.

Note it is not that my cars won't pass inspection, rather I am pretty anal
about keeping them fixed near to perfection, as my Rusty invoices will
attest. However I hate taking the time to wait in line to give people money.

To make up for sourcing calipers locally I ordered UCAs and shocks for my
240D last night.
I'm reasonably sure when I take it for inspection on Friday its going to
fail. The idea is to have the parts on hand to swap in so I can take it back
Saturday.

The state of MA is really ugly about inspection. I registered the car last
Friday thinking I'd have time to get the brakes done and get inspection on
Saturday. WRONG. Now I need to get it inspected by Friday (7 days from the
day of registration) or they'll charge me a fine...
Once it fails inspection I have 60 days to try again but I can't legally
drive it an inch from the inspection station once it fails. In practice I'm
sure I can drive it home and if I'm pulled over I could talk my way out of a
ticket...

It's just another form of revenue generation in MA, gotta cover all the
graft and corruption. I got yelled at once when my sticker was expired
by a cop who was monitoring a bunch of phone company picketers who
decided it was a good idea to take their picketing to the road leading
out of our office park at 5PM (there was some kind of phone company
office in the park, why they decided to PO a bunch of other people there
never made sense to me, I guess it is a union thing, like the phone
company isn't hated enough).

He was gonna give me a hard time or a ticket or something, until the guy
behind me got tired of waiting for the picketing morons and the equally
ignorant cop (making his $40/hr on detail work, min 3 hr) to let him get
home, did an end-around and almost ran down a couple of the oppressed
workers (most of whom seemed to be rather obese and nicely dressed, as
well as Filene's Basement and Lane Bryant could do anyway). I saw my
opening and bolted when they all scattered. The path opened up for
everyone else at that point too.

Re: [MBZ] WW2 Daimler Benz Aircraft Engine

2008-11-12 Thread Scott Ritchey
The MBCA Star magazine had a nice article with photos and diagrams on this
engine some years back (maybe about 2002?). I was impressed with the method
for installing/removing the cylinders. The outside base (which was on top)
of the cylinder was threaded and a BIG nut held it in place. A special
wrench turned a worm gear to rotate the "nut."

Subject: [MBZ] WW2 Daimler Benz Aircraft Engine

The USAF museum at Dayton O had a German ME109 engine sitting on the
floor when i was there 20 some years ago. It was an amazing engine
to look at. Compared to the contemporary engines from other
countries, the engine was a work of art. The engine is NOT Mercedes
Benz. They were built by Daimler Benz, and the engine tag clearly
said Daimler Benz.

They are indeed a narrow inverted V design. There was no comparable
HP US engine/airframe combination, until later in the war: 1943 to
1944. The (GM) Allison was also a v12, and it was contemporary,
first being used on a large scale on the Curtiss P-40. The English
had the Rolls Royce v12, as used in the Hurricane, the Spitfire and
several other airframes. These engines did not have the power/weight
ratio or the HP of the DB engine until late in the war, as I previously
stated.

The Germans used the DB v12 engine and a lightened version of the
ME109 to set altitude and speed records form 1937 to 1939. Many of
those records stood for many many years.

Most of these three V type engines used a dry sump system to provide
positive oil pressure in any position I know the Allison and the DB
did. I am not sure about the RR engine, but I believe it was also dry sump.

MB content: the MB 6.9 used a dry sump oil system.

I can't remember the M number of the aircraft engine. I do remember
that it was one of the most amazing and beautiful works of industrial
art I have ever seen.

Re: [MBZ] Amyris Opens Synthetic Diesel Pilot Plant - what about Pond Scum?

2008-11-12 Thread andrew strasfogel
Algae plant to open on S. Ute land Organisms will be used to make fuel for
use as an energy sourceby Joe Hanel
Herald Denver Bureau Article Last Updated; Wednesday, November 12, 2008
Green energy - literally - is coming to Southwest Colorado.
[image: Gateway
Reservations]
[image: custom residential
construction]
[image: Come to Durango, Colorado,
USA]

Solix Biofuels announced Tuesday that it will start construction on an algae
fuel plant early next year near Ignacio. The plant will be built in two
phases on a 10-acre site on the Southern Ute Indian Tribe reservation.

"That is just a stepping stone to building large-scale production, which is
our ultimate goal," said Solix CEO Doug Henston.

Henston did not say how many jobs the plant would bring, but the number will
be small at first.

Gov. Bill Ritter greeted the news and said the next generation will consume
energy in ways current Americans can't imagine.

"Fortunately, the creative, ingenuous and determined researchers at Solix
can not only imagine those ways, they are making them a reality. This is
also great news for Southwest Colorado, demonstrating that the New Energy
Economy is benefiting communities all across the state," Ritter said in a
news release.

The Solix operation will be different from the biodiesel plant operated by
San Juan Bioenergy in Dove Creek. That plant uses locally grown sunflower,
safflower and canola, and it currently produces oil for human and animal
food, but not motor fuel.

The Solix-Southern Ute operation will produce an oil feedstock that can be
refined into diesel fuel.

The market for diesel feedstock is huge, Henston said, and Solix and its
Southern Ute partners hope to grow hundreds of acres of algae some day -
possibly at the Ignacio site.

The plant will use high-tech "photobioreactors" to grow algae - essentially,
pond scum.

"We don't refer to it as that. We refer to it very affectionately," Henston
said.

Biodiesel plants that use canola oil can get about 150 gallons per acre per
year, Henston said. But algae grow much faster. Solix is producing 1,500
gallons per acre per year at its prototype site in Fort Collins, and Henston
hopes to double that growth rate.

The Solix plant will capture carbon dioxide from a natural gas-processing
plant near Ignacio. Algae need plenty of carbon dioxide and sunlight to
grow, and both are available on the Southern Ute reservation, Henston said.

Henston doesn't call Solix's technology carbon-neutral. But the plant will
capture carbon from the gas facility that would have gone straight into the
atmosphere and give it a second use as a motor fuel. Also, some studies show
that biodiesel emits fewer greenhouse gases than regular petroleum diesel,
Henston said.

Southern Ute Alternative Energy LLC provided some of the $5 million
investment for the Ignacio plant. Other investors include London-based I2BF
Venture Capital, oil refiner Valero Energy Corp., and Fort Collins-based
Bohemian Investments. The same investors also committed $10.5 million to
fund Solix operations Tuesday.

Solix was founded in 2006 as a spinoff from Colorado State University. Its
headquarters is in Fort Collins.

It was supposed to be a really good price though right?

This sort of thing is all too common there are tons of people who have been
ripped off.

Lesson #1 If it seems to good to be true it probably is.

Lesson #2 When dealing with a new company do a little research first. I bought
a new digital video camera a couple months ago, found it online for about $100
cheaper than profeel.com where I usually buy. A quick Google showed that the
other retailer (might have been fotoconnection for that matter) had tons of
outstanding complaints. I passed on them and bought from profeel.

Terak,

It got banged up (again) in an encounter with a Jersey barrier.  The front
inner fender wall was crumpled in about 6 in at the bumper mount and the local
shop said it would be $$$ to put in on the rack and pull it out.  I considered
just mounting a new outer funder over the bent inner fender but decided against
it.

It was an incredible car, I hate to see it go.  Will keep the motor however to
put in the 72 220D.

The 82 300CD starter problem has been solved...almost. It needed both a new

I can do it at the switch itself, but then the reverse light switch won't

I think you can use those lenses on the digital models but they won't be
autofocus and all that, so you will have to fiddle with them. Old
Minolta lenses fit the Sony DSLRs, as the Sony is a remake of the
Minolta digital.

Re: [MBZ] Amyris Opens Synthetic Diesel Pilot Plant

2008-11-12 Thread Christopher McCann
You are right, neither of the processes below can be called fermentation...and
I'm not sure exactly how the process works. But using sugar may not be so bad
since they will be doing it in Brazil where sugar is already being turned into
fuel on a large scale.

There just isn't enough info in the article. Annoying. Reminds me of an article
on blending D2 and BioD that recently appeared in the KC Star. She (the author)
kept confusing Biodiesel and VO: "B20 biodiesel is 20% vegetable oil" and it
went on and on.

If the yeast is consuming the sugar and storing oil in it's cell
structure, then we are not talking fermentation. That's basically what
the Algae people are working on. There are better/cheaper things to
feed microbes than sugar. If they are using the yeast to produce an
enzyme that converts sugar to diesel, they are competing with
foodstocks, which is political suicide. Technically interesting, but
not a solid business plan. Don't get me wrong - we need more research
like this. Just don't count on it to solve the problem any time soon.
Hopefully someone will stumble across a process that actually works in
the real world.

Think oil-eating microbes used to clean up oil spills...sort of in reverse.

Re: [MBZ] Amyris Opens Synthetic Diesel Pilot Plant

2008-11-12 Thread dave walton
If the yeast is consuming the sugar and storing oil in it's cell
structure, then we are not talking fermentation. That's basically what
the Algae people are working on. There are better/cheaper things to
feed microbes than sugar. If they are using the yeast to produce an
enzyme that converts sugar to diesel, they are competing with
foodstocks, which is political suicide. Technically interesting, but
not a solid business plan. Don't get me wrong - we need more research
like this. Just don't count on it to solve the problem any time soon.
Hopefully someone will stumble across a process that actually works in
the real world.

Agreed. In typical fermentation, the yeast does not make ethanol. It
makes an enzyme that converts the sugar to ethanol. I don't see how
that process would result in a diesel fuel.

Re: [MBZ] WW2 Mercedes Aircraft Engine

2008-11-12 Thread Peter Frederick
There are a couple advantages to an inverted V engine -- the cowling is easier
to streamline with the widest part of the engine closer to the centerline or
lower, as the shape can fair into the wings better. You can easily get hot
cylinder walls from the coolant flowing from the head to the crank (this
increases volumetric efficiency by reducing the cooling of the combustion
gases). The narrow cross section high in the cowling permits guns to be
mounted there -- a consideration in the Me109 as it was, as were all Willy's
designs, fairly frail and mounting heavy guns in the wings was a problem
structurally.

There are disadvantages, too -- induction can be a real pain (the DB used fuel
injection which fixed that -- and a family friend of ours made the parts for
the original system in the late 30's -- his father died before he got the
patents and RR took it over, then let the Germans at it!). Oil handling is a
problem as there have to be "recovery channels" along the cylinder banks to get
the oil out (they are all dry sump systems) and locating the propellor gearing
system can be a pain.

If the Nazis had developed high octane fuel, we'd have been in much worse shape
-- they never managed to get better than 90 octane av gas. With 100 octane
fuel, they'd have been getting significantly more hp out of that engine!

These engines did not have the power/weight
ratio or the HP of the DB engine until late in the war, as I previously stated.

We have no inspections here in Kansas for yearly licensing (I wish we did,
there are some very unsafe cars on the road). The only inspection we have is
if you bring a car in from another state, it has to be inspected. But, it is
not a safety inspection, they just check to make sure it isn't stolen and they
check to make sure the various vin plates all match.

In Missouri (where I am from), they do have safety inspections. But, there was
a system (at least in Springfield). The crappier the place looked, the more
likely you were to pass. When I was at the dealership, we did inspections and
I felt like the guys really did them. I remember failing people who just went
to the bad part of town and got an inspection. I had a car when I was 17 that
I knew wouldn't pass, so I went to one of those places. Inspections were only
$7 back then. The guy asked for my money, gave me the sticker and told me to
honk the horn before I left. That was the extent of his inspection.

Re: [MBZ] MA inspection

The state of MA is really ugly about inspection.

When my brother and I were teenagers growing up in MA back in the
early '70s, the only way we got stickers on our various rag-tag beater
foreign cars was by having our mom take them in for us. She'd dress up
like a proper lady, drive into the station in, for example, a Fiat
1500 roadster with more rust than sheetmetal, spin a big story about
how her husband was going to restore it for her, and after getting a
lecture "Lady, this car ain't SAFE" she'd generally drive out with a
sticker. (Her training: my folks first car was an MG TD, and yes, mom
can double-clutch.) As payback, I now let her drive my 300SD whenever
she wants. She loves it like nothing she's ever driven before. Ditto
my dad, the retired physicist.

The MA inspectors in my town would turn down gearhead kids with glee.

Thank God Iowa has no inspection whatsoever. They even stopped
inspecting cars at owner transfer long time ago.

Yeah--I have a bag of Mamiya 6x6 gear, too--two bodies, 4 lenses. May
never use it again, but am sure not going to sell it given what it's
worth now!

Does the SDL have SLS? Its the SLS that makes the wagon amazing...

Not normally, but I believe it could be ordered with it.

Fuses, you don't "Check Them, You change them!"

They actually build an internal resistance that will cause all kinds of grief.

All the "Old Timers" on this list have BTDT
