If the burn isn't extremely bad, many of the locals use hemorrhoid ointment which has a local anesthetic as well as healing properties. Nupercainal seems to be the favorite brand but some people say Preperation H is better. Of course, the locals seldom get sunburned since many have year-round tans and use sunblock as well. Nupercainal eases the pain a great deal. Gerry From: Dieselhead 126die...@gmail.com Ya mon! I watched the episonde of Wheeler Dealers where they resurrected a 2003 (?) SLK Kompressor. Very entertaining show! After it was properly sorted out they sold what was basically a $50K car for 3750 pounds sterling (around $7,000), clearing about 500 pounds' profit. They managed to pick it up from a shady dealership for only $2100 pounds. It was fun watching the tech sort out/replace the nonfunctional hard top, spongey brakes, rust spots, incorrect alloys, and noisy supercharger. They hired a mobile body shop to do the rust spots at their garage for very little money. Do those exist around here? You are correct that I was referring to the AR-15. Those are indeed available in many other calibers than 5.56 (similar to .223 Remington). Some in the 6.5-7.62mm range might be suitable for Boar. The AR-15 is actually a scaled-down version of the earlier AR-10; which fires the 7.62 NATO cartridge (similar to .308 Winchester). This is a very suitable round for hunting large Boar. I'm not going to take a position pro or con on the hunting ethics of the following: Many believe that since the feral hogs are considered vermin rather than game animals they are not as deserving of a humane one-shot kill as is a majestic Whitetail or Mule Deer buck. They are often encountered on the run and in groups, so shooters are trying to take as many as possible with rapid follow-up shots. Thus the incentive for the use of an AR-type rifle over a more conventional field weapon. BTW, moose are not that tough to bring down despite their size. My cousin has taken many moose with a .270 Win. Elk and certainly Bison merit more potent arms.
