a deal, get title then try to order a MM key from the stealer.  Go there then 
with trailer and get it running and loaded, or at least mobile. Loading would 
be a pain without being able to turn the wheels and can’t do that with it 
locked.

Well I have the parts ordered. $285 from FCP Euro for a new blower, new 
"resistor pack" (it's actually a more sophisticated electronic speed control, 
recommended to replace while you have the fan out) and a new cabin air filter. 
Went with Mahle Behr brands so it was a bit more expensive than it could have 
been but cheap parts are a poor economy if there is any kind of difficulty 
involved in the replacement.

We used to run a quart of oil in 5 gallons of gas in 2 stroke boat 
motors. I guess oil has become much better as we now run those old 
motors on 50:1.

Something like that would be fun to fool around with as a project, "drop 
in" some newer drivetrain and rat rod it without totally molesting it 
with hood stacks and nonsense like that. 606 maybe, that would wake it 
up?  Leave the patina, clean out the rat turds and such and maybe 
replace the nasty seats with some newer more comfortable stuff from a 
126 or 210 that I might just happen to have sitting around...  If one 
like that was available for like $500 that would be a starting point.

2009. I needed an SUV and a guy at work was selling it. Got a good deal on it 
because it needed new rear wheel bearings. It was very well maintained 
otherwise, he had all the records and always went to the dealer even for stuff 
like tires and wiper blades. It's actually a very nice car,

Looking at the videos the fan replacement doesn't seem much worse than a 
W116/W123. Remove the glove box and a few other panels, there are five screws 
holding the fan in. One is inaccessable and most people advise breaking that 
tab off. To get at it you have to remove about half the dash. But there was one 
video that showed how to unbolt another part, then you can wedge the fan 
housing over enough to get at the last screw.

This is prettt much the case throughout the retail space in Flagstaff, or so it 
seems. Home Despot is probably one of the best retail places to work, starting 
people out at or near $20/hour.

I spoke to the store manager about my experiences there a couple months ago. 
She said that her expectation is for employees to serve customers first, and 
deal with other tasks second, and she promotes this and expects nothing less.

Otherwise, I think it’s a cultural thing here, as people are really laid back 
in general. No road rage, everyone is really nice, people are driving around 
after it snows helping people stuck get out - for free.

There’s definitely something different going on here, as it’s across the board 
for the most part.

store where everyone walks by. He calls associate #1 and tells him he found 
them. Amazing. These guys probably spent a collective 20 minutes or more 
helping me out. This is typical of the store. I love the place, and have told 
management about it, too. The Home Despots near my house in Florida suck. You 
can't find the help if you wanted at them, and when you do, they're rarely of 
value.

I think this one has run thru several times, but not sure. I had it saved for a 
while but did pay that close of attention to it. Still awaiting seller 
response. Will see what happens.

I was looking at a Saturn Ion, not really damaged, clean title, runs and 
drives but 180k and looked like it was not taken care of.

Starting bid $200 BIN 650.
Last week it went $200, and didn't sell.
This week it had a $200 prebid, and as soon as the auction went live, 
the seller has released the minimum bid, and whoever kept bidding on it 
got it for $200.


Just keep being the high bidder for 2-3 weeks, and the seller will give 
up and let you have it.
