[Buggered Benzmail via Mercedes]

I don’t recall if airmatic on the sedans has a “high” setting, I’ll have to go 
look at the $400E500. It has 3 stiffness settings. MLs and GLs with airmatic 
(W/X164s) have a high setting for off road which gives another inch or two of 
clearance. As Dan says the hydraulic ABC system has different settings, 4 
actually — normal, higher, highest and Sport which drops it a bit from the 
normal setting (maybe at higher speeds, I don’t recall) and stiffens it up.  
The different levels are noticeable and Sport is stiffer. 

I’m not sure I would take a sedan off-roading but it might actually work if the 
suspension jacks it up enough. MLs and GLs are quite competent though.

[MBZ] Tire wear markings

Several months ago, someone posted an automobile whose tires had
"Replacement Tire Monitor" marked on the tread as shown in the attached
photograph.

No one at the time knew what that meant, but today simpletire.com emailed
me a newsletter which describes what is going on with that and other wear
markings:

I remember seeing one of those sitting on a used car lot in Arlington MA in the early 80s. It was in similar condition to that one (not really but it was rode hard and not even put up) and I thought it was kinda cool but an “exotic” Italian… I don’t remember what the price on it was but I don’t think it was too much. rail spur to the plant that makes the "Totally green hydrogen" and load it
directly into rail cars, which are then pulled as a hydrogen fuel trail to
a spur where empty fuel cars are decoupled and full fuel cars are coupled
with fuel line connection made and train is back in service without
delays...
But, that would require the use of logic, instead of government funding, I
suppose..
