Re: [MBZ] 617 head question
I looked up parts on importec, the head gasket set for the 76 is the same as one for a 81 for example. I would say it would work. Turbo injectors are different, with a higher pop pressure, but a NA engine would probably run fine with a set of five turbo injectors. I don't think it would hurt any if you used a turbo cam and sodium cooled exhaust valves. Using a 1979 or newer head with the hardened cam and followers wouldn't hurt. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com --- This email has been checked for viruses by AVG. http://www.avg.com ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

Re: [MBZ] 617 head question
I looked up the head for the 115 then looked up the head for a 123 and one of the head numbers was the same. I’m thinking it should work.
