You're talking to the chap who installed (and drove 100,000 miles) an Olds
V8 in an MGA in 1970 -- 0-100kM.hr in just under 6 seconds.

2010-01-11 Thread OK Don
I suspect not! Turbo'ing the engine would be for the fun of doing it, acting
like an 18yr. beside kids in mustangs, etc. Not likely to happen though ---
I still beleive that you can't have too much altitude, too much fuel, nor
too much power!

[MBZ] M103 turboed and dropped with a re-sale value of 20 cents

That's right, spend 1000's just so you can cut 5 seconds off the trip to
your letterbox at the end of your 200 yard long drive.

wonder if he'll make his money back?
So how do the head gaskets stand up to the extra pressure in the
combustion chamber?

Hendrik
who is happy with the performance of his 300TE, it reaches the maximum

Gave me a new outlook on the 300E --- if I'm going to get lousy mileage, I
might as well have serious power! Yes - he uses megasquirt, turbos, new
electronic ignition, leaves the rest of the engine stock.
