[MBZ] Drugs for Covid
South Korea experts recommend anti-HIV, anti-malaria drugs for COVID-19 March 12 (UPI) -- South Korean disease experts have begun to recommend the use of a combination of antiviral and anti-malaria drugs for patients of the new strain of coronavirus. Kwon Jun-wook, deputy head of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said Thursday at a regular press briefing the recommendations come from multiple groups, and that the government is ready to apply the recommendations to patients "where necessary," Newsis reported. https://www.upi.com/Top_News/World-News/2020/03/12/South-Korea-experts-recommend-anti-HIV-anti-malaria-drugs-for-COVID-19/6961584012321/?ds=4 Also: https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/a-promising-antiviral-is-being-tested-for-the-coronavirus-but-results-are-not-yet-out/ ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

Yes, I noticed the quickness of the window in the video. I've often thought that quick windows could be a safety measure in dicey situations in the city, such as some blokes that may ride around in this limo might run into: may come in handy to be able to have a rolled up window where a rolled down one was a second and a half ago. But yes, I too wonder about what would happen to anything in its path. Don't imagine there were any safety sensors there to reverse or stop it. Wonder if it exerts more force than the typical electric window. Re: [MBZ] drugs?
Hi Archer, The MB 600 used a V8 engine like the one used in the 300SEL 6.3. It's a very powerful engine as it needed to be to pull all the weight of the 600 around! That 600 is an amazing car. Still desireable ater 40 years everything on it was upsized from the early W108 - even the Star was made larger. The window lifts were not electric like we have on our current MBs but are hydraulic - I understand they are hydraulic as the system is virtually silent. Neat cars - but expensive to maintain.
