Sh! Don't anyone tell Dan his steering wheel is incorrect! Dan Penoff via Mercedes wrote on 4/12/19 3:43 PM: Don’t tell anyone it’s not the correct wheel for the car…. The one that Jaime helped me get is actually the correct wheel for 66-67 W110s. It’s fatter and has two grooves in it. The original wheel for the earlier W110/111/112 models is thinner in cross section and has no grooves. Of course, I’m not complaining and it’s only something that a purist would know. -D ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

I tipped dan off and failed to get one myself somehow. I partially blame my dealer. Last one of two new steering wheels in the world that Mercedes had. I bought one the first of April and the other one in inventory was sold a day or two after. Mercedes did a price drop that lowered the price below half of the list (over $1,000) so I snapped this one up. It is a thing of beauty. I wasn’t sure the dealer was going to let me have it - they opened it and had it hanging on the wall in the parts department like an object ‘d art. -D > On Apr 11, 2019, at 8:37 PM, Dimitri Seretakis wrote: > > Nice steering wheel!
