The front frame looks like it would make a nice bouncy board, especially with 1000lb of engine and trans sitting up there. I’m still thinking a nice Benz diesel engine and trans (606/722.6), would have to bodge up the ECU and TCM somehow but I guess that would be doable. That would be some awesome power and torque with a BULLETPROOF tranny, the rod would haul ass. Ford 460 gas engine is an absolute gas pig, the C6 transmission is an antique. When I look at this "project" I'm seeing multiple bad decisions and poor planning. Keep the engine/trans, I'll bid $200 for the messed up hulk you are trying to sell, but only if you have front fenders, hood, and grill to go with it. I love the doors hinged like that. With that long a front end it needs at least a V12, if not a straight eight! It would be a much more interesting project if it had the Mercedes front body work.
