That lil ol band from Texas!  The Boyz!  I saw Billy at the Derby a few 
years back, managed to snap a pic of his back going up an elevator.  I 
saw him driving around Houston a couple of times (in a Benz once!), once 
over at the Benz dealer near where I lived, his girlfriend/now wife 
lived right behind there.


I went riding my bike around LaGrange once (they gotta lot of nice girls 
down there, huh huh huh huh).

We loved the Big Texan steak house, met a real life cowboy, pictures will be
posted for Wiltons judgement, and had the band play Johnny Cash with an Aussie
twist. As I said, a ex Marine took the challenge and I got a picture of the slab
of meat. I felt bad because later I talked to him and he said he chocked on a
large chunk, I should have advised him to spend time to cut that meat into tiny
pieces to make it easier to chew and swallow, instead I just wished him good 
luck.
We stayed at the attached Big Texan motel and that was a real experience, remind
me when I get home to post pictures.

We are now in Kingman Arizona about 93mile from Las Vegas.
Went to the meteor impact crater on the way that was something us, we all 
enjoyed

that one.

Went through Flagstaff & saw one fire, I got abit of altitude sickness but

Really enjoying the change in landscape as we drive Route 66.

We loved it, meeting the Kaleb clan and having a feed at the outback place was
great, obviously now we are in hospital without legs after the chickers stripped
us bare but that is all part of the fun.
Zak loves the Diesel dog and wants him shipped to Oz and i want to to have the
300TD mechanicals shipped back to Oz. We are not greedy just like to collect a
few souvenirs.

Gallup has some great shops downtown for native (aborigine) 
artworkpottery, leather, silver, turquoise etc.


I can't remember the name of the one (smaller) shop that was really 
good.  The owner would be about 60 something now, appeared to be 
middle eastern descent.

Have heard about the fires,just like being home, I'm sure we will work it out
getting around them.

go see that big canyon out there?

Wednesday.
Yeah we are driving alot of miles but road trips are what we Aussies are best 
at.
We are planning to fly from LV to San Francisco on Friday & need to be back in

Let me say that meeting you lot was the best part of America and is one of those
things that makes me think that America is a great country like Australia.

Kalebs back yard is a sight to behold if you like your Mercs and OK Don is
getting that way too.
Where heading west today, I think Alberquirky is the next stop, so we'll 
see how

that goes.
Anyway I gotta get the kids out of bed, they tend to like these comfy 
motel beds.

We loved it, meeting some real life Americans is a blast, especially good folks
