Re: [MBZ] Upper control arm
The cost difference between upper ball joints control arm assemblies is not that great and you probably need inner control arm bushings anyways. For the 107, new control arms were about $150 each vs the $32 for just the ball joints. -- Jim ___ http://www.okiebenz.com For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

I dunno but I really should do the UCA bushing too and that apparently isn't the most fun job around and besides by the time I price up all those parts I'm pretty close to the UCA assembly. -Curt Date: Mon, 10 Nov 2008 19:32:29 -0800 From: Jim Cathey [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [MBZ] Upper control arm To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], Mercedes Discussion List mercedes@okiebenz.com Message-ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed I'm thinking of replacing these because the upper ball joint boots are split on both sides on my car. I don't see the ball joints for sale and besides I don't have a press... This the 123? Don't they use the same TRW upper BJ replacement kits that the 107 uses? I just did the SL using those, it's not too hard to do. No spring compressor required. Got 'em from Rusty, about $65 for the pair.
