I don't think you are going to stuff a B series under an old Rolls' bonnet. IIRC, the engine is about 37 inches tall, and the oil pan should be eight inches off the pavement.

And with all the sound deadening built into those cars, you probably won't hear it inside as long as the engine mounts are done well.

Maybe something like that should have an engine that actually makes power like a Cummins from a Dodge pickup or if length is an issue a 4BT Cummins from a bread van. But _so_ not quiet. You sure about the mounts? The 6.2 is not a Chebbie block and likely uses the same mounts as a Buick, Olds or Pontiac.
