Three of them are very old terrestrial samples including olivine gabbro, hypersthene (orthopyroxene) and peridotite, which represent some of earth's close cousins to achondrites. They are very nice and can be used for making comparsions to achondrites, and for practicing mineral identification. The fourth combination is a nice section/slice of NWA 904...made from an end section I purchased from the Hupe's. It is a unique meteorite as you all know. These were all made by the same person who prepares Jeff Rowell's. All of these sections have covers. See them at. http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/herman-75/ Thanx for reading, John

Dear Mark, and List; I have been oozing over with bliss since I have been seeing the "wanta be" process and the "reality is reality" post. Ol' Arley from the TV show "MAIL CALL" uses a few terms that seems to fit...Maybe we could start up a "Meteorite Mail Call" to ferret out the "grabasstically organized statements" or "bolognariffic-huey" spread by some among us who are greater than life...and themselves Alright Recruit, drop that metal detector, that is not a tektite, its a melted beer bottle stupid! I am curious what the classification of Steve's meteorite is. Hi Eric and all, the Kilabo sample has been classified as an LL6 and submitted to the Met Soc with the proposed name "Kilabo". There's a long story behind it that I won't go into here, but it IS the same meteorite as Hadejia - all that's happened is that it's been classified by two different researchers, and each has proposed/forwarded a different name for it.
