Sorry My Spelling Gone To Hell Today..
Re: New Apache Mirror
With about 6 gigs of data, and about 24K files, I would bet its considerably larger than the qmail mirror. It takes about 10 seconds (if that) to do a update for the apache mirror. Because there are so many files, I suggest you run rsync with the --delete-after That should speed things up considerably. -- Matthew Ryan wrote: Somehow its taking longer then anyother rsync server i run.I also mirror for Qmail and it runs alot faster then this src.I might end of only being able to update every 10 hours due-to the time it takes to download from this certian src.

Hi Erik Basically the mirror looks good and I've included it but you might want to IndexIgnore some of the files/dirs (e.g. CVS directories, HEADER.html, README.html, .message, .cvsignore, .htaccess, etc.). For example, the IndexIgnore settings shipped with the default httpd.conf would be perfectly fine: IndexIgnore .??* *~ *# HEADER* README* RCS CVS *,v *,t *shit* I thought anything looks strange on the website... cheers Roland -- Roland Guthauser, System Engineer ISP Liechtensteinische Kraftwerke, Abt. On 25/08/2003, at 09:32, Andrej Primc wrote: Hi! We've set up a new Apache mirror. It is located in Slovenia (SI). http://www.buy.si/apache/ Okay, looks good so far. I'll add it with the next update together with your address as the contact info ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). One minor issue: perhaps you can have a look at your config; especially at the IndexIgnore directive (see http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/mod/mod_autoindex.html#indexignore) since you're exposing dotfiles and the HEADER/README.html files. For example use the default settings: # IndexIgnore is a set of filenames which directory indexing should ignore IndexIgnore .??* *~ *# HEADER* README* RCS CVS *,v *,t But this is only a cosmetic change and doesn't affect the usefullness of the mirror, so I'll add it in any case. Cheers, Erik Best regards, Andrej Primc
