[Mobile.AI] Keypad for Android phones

2014-07-06 Thread Prashant verma
At least companies are thinking about it.

Telorian is a software and onscreen mask that provides a Nokia like feel to
the android phones.

However, it seems very expensive for the indian market.

Re: [Mobile.AI] MOTO E users, are you facing any battery back up issues??

2014-07-06 Thread Sagar
Hey Sir. hope you're doing good.
I don't use this phone however Il try my best to help you.
These are smart phones or smart devices whatever you call it so it uses the
battery in the background. For example it keeps on searching updates Wi-Fi etc
etc. Try turning off mobile data and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth whenever you don't
need them..
Download screen filter which would reduce your brightness 0% which would help
in saving battery..
Perhaps turn off vibration also.
I hope this information helps..
If you need anything else don't hesitate to contact.

Hi folks,
i bought moto E last month and after using it for a few days, i
realised that the battery was consistently performing badly. the
battery back up was not more than 8hrs on stand by mode.
after several rounds of unsuccessful trouble shooting by motorola
customer care service, i got my moto e replaced. today i got the new
moto e, but to my surprise, the battery is still performing badly. it
has lost 50% of the battery back up in a span of just of just 3 and
half hrs.
has anyone faced any such issue??

Some of general improvements are highlighted in my mail such as Improved
dialer and others. These improvements may be directly or indirectly
connected with accessibility. To know all the details, check Android's

Hey everybody check this out. Enjoy
PartyLine randomly and anonymously connects you with people in a live one on
one voice chat. Search by age and gender. Lets talk!

Features:
• Doesn’t use any of your voice minutes – since the app is voip-based, none of
the voice minutes for your phone contract are used.
• Completely anonymous – Other than your year of birth, the app collects no
personal information and the person you match with has no personal information
about you, not even your phone number, name, or email.
• Protection for minors – users under 18 can only match and chat with other
users under 18.
• Universal app that works on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
• Cellular or Wi-Fi – works over just about any network and firewall with very
low bandwidth (less than 2.5K/sec upstream and downstream).
• Match with anyone anywhere in the world.
• Rating system to discourage rude behavior.
• Anonymous friend system to allow for future conversations with people you
like using push notifications.
• Currently there is only one universal room, but future updates will have
different location based chat rooms.

PartyLine – The ultimate talk line. Get on the Party Line.

ENGLISH ONLY: Presently PartyLine is only available for English-only
conversations. Other languages will be added later.

Overall, complete touch phones aren't quite easy when it comes to type out
emails on the go. If lot of typing happens to be a concern, go for touch and

type phones. Touch and type phones in Android segment have been scarce. But
one can find one touch and type phone online right now. It's Intex Aqua

Hi Rohith,
There is an error in your dialin string. I cannot help with activating the

01161606161,,,1,2

The commas are to allow the IVR to speak the prompt.

Dear Pranav,
Thanks for the help. Still, I am not able to use the screen during the
call. Will explain my difficulty. created the string 01161606161p1p2.
When I activate the call button, the IVR asks to dial 1 for english or
2 for hindi. I am not able to activate dial 1 which is suppose to
appear on the screen.
Thanks,
Rohith

What according to your knowledge is the latest version that S2 can run?
My Mom has the S2 and has JB 4.1.2 If she could update it it would be great.

Hi,
to get rid of the same problem, I am using Auto speaker App. as soon
as we move the phone away from the ear, this app activates the loud
speaker and talkback also begins to speak. now it is not much
difficult to locate the dial pad button which is a little above the
back button.

Re: [Mobile.AI] how to delete unused folder/icon?

2014-07-06 Thread Surya Prakash Sharma
Hi,
do the following:
long press the icon until the phone makes a sound and drag it towards
the top edge of the screen. it is a little tricky for totally blind
person. In my view you should use Nova launcher to customize the home
screens. in Nova you need to long press an icon and select the option
to remove the icon. this is very much talkback friendly.

When I activate the call button, the IVR asks to dial 1 for english or

appear on the screen.
Thanks,

Re: [Mobile.AI] Problems with clock/alarm settings on Moto E

2014-07-06 Thread Aruni Sharma
hello, You can also find the volume control setting for alarm by clicking
more/settings and double tapping on volume for alarm The seek bars are totally
accessible. for setting the alarm also you need to double tap and hold and then
move left/right in order to decrease/increase the values. If you need to adjust
the date or time, which is by the way automatically adjusted by the system by
default according to the network timings, you can go to settings/date & time,
uncheck the 2 check boxes and then click date or time.

for volumes go to setting of the sound activate volume, there you'll find 3
seek sliders. third one from the top is the volume of alarm. tap and hold on
it and don't remove your finger and slide finger in slow motion. slide right
to increase and left to decrease. find OK button and activate it.

Hi Rohit,

You will have to create dialin strings. See the following link. Yes, the

The timer in clock in Moto phones is accessible provided you need to operate
it in the same way as you do with volume control or display control. Once
you press on any hour/minutes, you need to keep holding down your finger and
move across the screen till you find your desired option.

Re: [Mobile.AI] IVRS in android kitkat, Moto E

2014-07-06 Thread Sagar
hello sir!
hope your doing good!
use speakerphone or headset for accessing IVRS cause the screen gets disabled
when you have it close to your ear.
il advice you to install autospeaker which will activate speakerphone when ever
you take the phone away from your ear.
you should be able to access the IVR easyly.
hope that helps.
if you need anything else feel free to contact.
cheers.
TakeCare!
