Slightly increase your budget and go for Motorola Moto G Second
Generation, that is what I would suggest. There are reports that the
Moto G 2015 might be out in a couple of months, perhaps you can just
hold off till then.

Either go for Moto e 4g or spice dream uno. if you want to spend around
10k, go for moto g2. OCR softwares are still not very reliable on android
platform as far as I have experienced.

Which model of HTC? I had checked HTC Desire 816 and found that there
were some accessibility issues with the UI, you would need to install
3rd party apps to make full use of your phone.

Slightly increase your budget and go for Motorola Moto G Second
Generation, that is what I would suggest. There are reports that the
Moto G 2015 might be out in a couple of months, perhaps you can just
 hold off till then.

Which model of HTC? I had checked HTC Desire 816 and found that there
were some accessibility issues with the UI, you would need to install
3rd party apps to make full use of your phone.

[Mobile.AI] a note for user looking to buy mi phones.

2015-06-04 Thread Sunil Sangtani.
hi everyone,
I read few days back some listers was asking the accessibility
feedback about xyomi phones.
so here I got the chanse to try red mi 2 phone running MIUI 6.x for a
while and here are my obsurvations:
from the quality frunt, the phone is very good but there are some
searias concerns those are hard to ignore.
1) answering call is not strate forward, I had a hard time answering
calls with talkback, it was easy with shine plus though.
2) the home, back and recent/overview buttons are not anounsed by the
talkback; you need to use gestures to make use of these buttons.
3) the phone app is not has touch-dialing feature, its with dubble tab.
so, a humble advice not to go with this brand till the accessibility
is not fixd or becomes usable at least.
