Uhh... well, it's certainly not the case that Apache doesn't support vhosts anymore. Nor has the syntax changed. So you must be doing something else wrong. But it's really hard to say what that is with so little information to go on... perhaps you could show us exactly what configuration it is that you're trying that's not working as you expect? --Cliff -- Cliff Woolley [EMAIL PROTECTED] Charlottesville, VA __ Apache Interface to OpenSSL (mod_ssl) www.modssl.org User Support Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Automated List Manager[EMAIL PROTECTED]

the ? marks are replacing the real info. here is what I tried last. ServerName login.?.com ServerAdmin webmaster@?.com DocumentRoot /home/?/public_html/ SSLEngine on SSLCertificateFile /etc/httpd/conf/ssl/server.crt SSLCertificateKeyFile /etc/httpd/conf/ssl/server.key SSLVerifyClient none when I try this it will give me an error - SSLEngine mispelled or module not installed. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Cliff Woolley Sent: Sunday, July 08, 2001 12:47 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: mod_ssl-2.8.2-5mdk and virtual host HELP! Are you using static or dynamic linking? If dynamic, do you have a LoadModule directive for mod_ssl? If static, double-check you really have mod_ssl installed: do "./httpd -l" and look for "mod_ssl.c". OK? Then, specify the port number in the VirtualHost definition: ...etc. Also check you have "Listen 443".
