Thank you to those that responded to my inquiry yesterday. This was about
the availability of an original 1955 French Grande Affiche (One Panel)
beautiful stone lithograph from the classic musical "Guys And Dolls". Artwork
by Roger Soubie.

Sincerely,

Has it occurred to anyone that all he was complaining about was a $38 poster on
ebay. Yes $38.
He was looking for a rebate of $10.
Yes - $10. The entire discussion concerned $10.
This is idiocy at its finest.

You didnt need to photograph this poster. You could have done a simple
cut and paste of the poster image taken directly from the Ebay ad...
simple. So the seller could have remained anonymous but the image
offered, in the least.

You have not mentioned even the title of this alleged, 4 4 4 4 folded poster.

2011-10-21 Thread lovenoir2
Again, you sidestep and skirt the question.

What is your issue with this? And over a 38.00 item?

You asked Steve Olson to provide an image or link of his poster. He did gladly.

You are asked, now the 5th or 6th time to do the same.. And, yet, you
continually refuse and outright ignore the query. Folds that able to
be seen or not in the ebay image is not the issue at this point.

What is seemingly becoming apparent is that this poster was NOT as bad
and flawed as you made it out to be. And a photo would show this to be
the case.

This is probably why you refuse to even provide a title.

You have not mentioned even the title of this alleged, 4 4 4 4 folded

Re: [MOPO] (no subject) 4 4 4 4

2011-10-21 Thread lovenoir2
Bitter? hardly.. just flummoxed at your blatant hypocrisy. Its not
becoming to you or anyone.

First, you place a post is placed with an off topic link, with nothing
more than the words, "Watch this video" written. Period. In the past,
you have also complained about off topic posts to MOPO... so what is
good for one, should be good for another.

Second.. you were the one most "vocal" when telling Steve Olson to
post a picture or link of his (what he thought was an Argentine, and
later learned to be Australian) "Postman Always Rings Twice" poster
and that it would be better for all to see. Yet, you, when asked, in
the same vein, to provide a link or image of this 4 4 4 4 x folded
poster, provided nothing, even when asked several times. All you did
was complain about the seller.

So I am not bitter... i'm simply calling someone to the carpet.

Do not comment, ask or demand of others what you refuse to provide or
do yourself.

poster was on consignment and needed owner's approval. all
wasted time. then the seller offered me 5.00 and a credit for 5.00 future
purchases. then the seller was upset about paying ebay commission on the
5.00.
everything written by selling was so stupid. i told the seller three or
four days ago that i would accept 10.00 adjustment and be over with it. the
order of these event may be askew.

this was never about money i never sought to embarrass the seller.

we'll soon it will be feedback time. i wont be shy. lovenoir, you

If MOPO recalls, no information was ever given on the seller or
identity of the "4 4 4 4x folded" poster that this member "got burned

In the least case, this latest MOPO post should have been marked "OT."

Sorry for my early morning cynicism. I suppose the younger generation

crumb of creativity is far better than the enormous feast of garbage thrust
