We have bus shelters all over town here in SF that have these rolled vertical poster that are lighted from behind. I think they are approx 60 x 40. As I now look at the seller's other items, I'm thinking this one came from a package of (would-be?) commercial large format posters. It's not clear how they got they idea that they were "subway" posters. I agree. It looks like the inventory that used to be available from the many commercial posters stores that thrived in the 80s and 90s. KILL BILL seems to be the odd one out because of the date. Isn't the rating of a film supposed to be on all US distributor-produced paper these days? I have a 40x60 BLUES BROTHERS from the time of the film. I'v never offered it because even though it came from an ex-distributor mate's collection, I was never able to completely verify exactly what it was. I guess it's kind of fun if you like THE BLUES BROTHERS, but it's origins are murky and doubtless commercial. Hey, CK, just so you know, I have several bus shelter posters for sale and while most are 4'x6' some are an inch or two smaller by width and length which I just realized is because they are British Bus Shelters (note they say "In Cinemas November 18). While my U.S. FINDING NEMO Bus Shelters are true 4'x6' while the HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE Set of 4 are approx: 46"x 68" (they are here: http://flickr.com/ photos/55172...@n00/ As for shipping, they roll great and you just need a long enough tube. 49"-50" usually does it. The cost of shipping due to their weight is another issue entirely. Patrick, Point of information: Most if not all of the US bus shelter posters I've had have varied from EXACTLY 4'x6'. Also, I agree it's not a huge challenge to ship them if you have the right tubes, but shipping a 40x60 poster at 13 oz (the domestic First Class limitation) would be something different and probably not to be recommended even if possible.
