Re: [music-dsp] A Studio Signal Enhancement Experiment
For those interested in my signal processing thread: http://youtu.be/DSdRT7MM3gI I measured the output of the chain while playing some well known music with an improvised 30 band spectrum analyzer, and with an FFT based 1024 band analyzer, and put on the HD cam to capture some of the results. Monitoring is through an additional lexicon compression+reverb simulation. -- dupswapdrop -- the music-dsp mailing list and website: subscription info, FAQ, source code archive, list archive, book reviews, dsp links http://music.columbia.edu/cmc/music-dsp http://music.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/music-dsp

It's incredible. wikis have become impossible unless someone has a lot of time to devote to them, so we've just turned off all wikis. Blogs generally have to have their comments turned off. Bummer. I agree with the suggestion that going with a modern CMS rather than home-brew makes sense. We were also being constantly attacked by robots and every time it turned out that someone's custom php upload script or something similar was the security hole. douglas -- ... http://artbots.org .douglas.irving http://dorkbot.org .. http://music.columbia.edu/cmc/music-dsp ...repetto. http://music.columbia.edu/organism ... http://music.columbia.edu/~douglas -- dupswapdrop -- the music-dsp mailing list and website: subscription info, FAQ, source code archive, list archive, book reviews, dsp links http://music.columbia.edu/cmc/music-dsp http://music.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/music-dsp
