Thanks for reporting and for your help in troubleshooting the issue!! Andrey. Hi there, Does this problem exist with the iPad app? I am currently running the latest available from the UK store, and seeing the same problems. Have run through all the suggestions posted in this thread, but to no avail. [MLO] Re: Balancing
Fernando, I was just trying to try out my MLO export in LB, and found it would be a lot of work to adapt my task tree there to give it a proper go. For ex., I have about 30 main folders in my MLO outline for various things, and a total of 1,827 items (according to Outline icon in Android app). It works swimmingly in MLO, but I'd have to shove those into folders of homogenous categorisation to make the pie chart comprehensible meaningful. To help avoid the risk of doing all that for nothing, can you *please *tell me, as an experienced user of LB and now MLO, how time-consuming would it be to use the balancing functions of LB from MLO exports, once it's all set up? Are there any other MLO users out there who use the balance function in LB just by MLO export, but staying based in MLO? BTW, I definitely will stay with MLO ahead of LB, and I can see now, Fernando, as I'm sure you have/will, that you've made a good move in choosing MLO ahead of LB. It'd be a big job to set up LB's balance function in another app, as I suggested in my previous post, and I'm not sure whether entirely possible. Alas, they didn't ported their app to Android, so I changed from LB to MLO. (I'm not interested in Apple products). Is there any way you can simulate that balancing feature on MLO? I use the Windows and Android versions, cloud synced. Thanks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MyLifeOrganized group. [MLO] Re: BUG: Does anybody else have problems with DD/MM/YY displaying as MM/DD/YY (sometimes)
Hi Andrew/Andrei Thanks very much for this - it worked! To save anybody else who is having this problem wading through the full thread, the problem is caused by a bug in Windows 7 which returns the wrong date format to apps such as MLO when they ask what date format to use. The solution is to go to Control Panel Clock, Language, Region Change date, time format and in the 'Format' drop down, select a different Country (any) and click OK (or Apply?). Open the dialog box again and select the format you want (in my case, 'English (United Kingdom)' and click OK. It seems that this changing the date format to something different, saving and then changing it back causes Windows to properly store your desired format. Really pleased to have resolved this because it was one those minor things that was disproportionally annoying. Thanks again. In my case, my Windows default date format is DD/MM/YY.All other applications respect this. As did MLO in earlier versions. However, early versions of V4 started to display these dates MM/DD/YY format - but only when MLO starts. After a period of use (1-2 hours, maybe), the date format switches to DD/MM/YY format (and stays this way until I restart MLO). I haven't been able to work out what causes this change. Nobody else supported my report in the beta forum so I am interested to know whether others who use the DD/MM/YY format for their Windows date are seeing this problem iin MLO V4.. Or whether their dates display correctly? Note: it is possible that the problem started when I moved to using a new machine which is running 64 bit Windows but I am not certain. [MLO] Prb: upgrade to MLO4 caused key file to become corrupt; how do I recover?
Hi, I was running MLO when it prompted me to download MLO4. I did so and ran it, forgetting to shut MLO down first. The install detected that MLO was running, I shut it down, and retried. All went well until I fired up MLO4 at which point it told me that my registration information contained in the mlo.keym was invalid, outdated, or corrupted. Maybe I missed something somewhere. For the upgrade, was I also supposed to buy additional support, rebuy MLO, or ?? BTW, I also restored my mlo.keym from backups to no avail.
