Re: [MLO] Re: In the new version 2.0 of MLO for IOS - How do I move a task from the Inbox to folder on the Iphone?
Wait 'til you see the new features currently in beta test on iOS...! I really don't know why MLO has never been a featured productivity app on the App Store - other than it only syncs with Windows and there isn't a Mac desktop version. Anyway, when you select move task it defaults to a list of projects, but you can start to type the name of any task in the search box at the top and it will offer you all the tasks which match the search term, as a potential parent. For moving *multiple items*, select the ^ button on the bottom-right and then chose Multiselect. Once you've chosen the tasks you want to move, you'll see a four-way arrow button (the move button) at the bottom left of the screen. Move from task preview implemented for the next update. Copy/cut/paste with multi-select is planned. How do you move a task from the inbox on the iPhone with MLO2? The implication is drag and drop similar to the Windows version, though I cannot see a way how to achieve this. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MyLifeOrganized group. [MLO] Re: In the new version 2.0 of MLO for IOS - How do I move a task from the Inbox to folder on the Iphone?
The four-way arrow at the top right activates move mode. Then use the bars on the right of the item to drag it to it's preferred location. Turn off move mod by pressing the four-way arrows again. I'd like to see a long-press cut and paste implemented like all the other versions to go alongside this move method. [MLO] Re: In the new version 2.0 of MLO for IOS - How do I move a task from the Inbox to folder on the Iphone?
Hi, OK, thanks. But for a large outline the drag and drop does not work. My preferred way of doing this would be to use a similar approach as the desktop version using the CTRL-M command. Then you can select a task from the inbox and then quickly move the the correct area of action or project. (I do not like the cut-n-paste that we had in version 1. Any other tips how to do this efficiently?
