Marking incomplete as this release isn't supported anymore. Can anyone
confirm that this issue is still present on a supported Mythbuntu/MythTV
release?

[Mythbuntu-bugs] [Bug 509065] Re: mythlcdserver started too early

2010-02-28 Thread MarcRandolph
Thank you for helping to improve Mythbuntu by opening this ticket. I
am marking this ticket as confirmed since, between the above responses
and the ubuntu forum discussion, it appears to have enough information
to help the developers understand the problem. It is possible I am
wrong and another more experienced triager or developer may adjust the
status of the ticket to "incomplete" and request additional information.

[Mythbuntu-bugs] [Bug 509065] Re: mythlcdserver started too early

2010-02-25 Thread Rodercot
Sorry in my last post that kernel is used on the 9.10 Frontends only
and the error from the logs affect the frontends only not the backend.
The B/E kernel is 2.6.27-17-generic

 Thanks,

 Dave

No. Without that, the lcd server would work at all. Mine is working
fine, because I already added this host setting. I only have to
restart it after each boot.

I really have no idea. But my best guess is, that this happens from
mythfrontend. See
