Dunno about that, but it won't hurt you to have a window manager on the 2nd screen will it? I mean you don't need one, but. One gotcha, if you are using nvidia video cards and probably some others is they will only do an xvideo window on the screen they think is screen 0. (I would think they should let you do it on either but not both if they only have one set of logic to do xvideo, but what can you do.) So you will want the mythfrontend to run on screen 0 as far as the card is concerned. With some trickery, this does not have to be screen 0 to the window manager, however. And we're talking possible hard crash if you get it wrong. > > Finally, I guess my last option would be to use > two simultaneous X servers. Unfortunatelly, looks like > that is not supported by default in X.org. I've seen Actually, I am not sure it's "supported" in the sense it's not in the config file. You make two config files, one for each card. I don't know if you can really have two X servers on two heads of the same video card, that sounds scary to try. ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users

[mythtv-users] how to set-up second display for mythfrontend
Hello all, I'm still stuck with my problem trying to use the second screen or a dual-head configuration for mythfrontend. In an X server configured with two screens (:0.0 and :0.1), does anyone know how to tell KDE to use ONLY the first screen instead of both (that is, start only one kwin, kdesktop and kicker instead of one per screen). Another alternative I tested is to use Xnest. It gives me - almost - the right functionality but it is too slow to render video: you can tell one frame from the next at simple eyesight. Does anyone know about any available alternative to make Xnest perform better? Finally, I guess my last option would be to use two simultaneous X servers. Unfortunatelly, looks like that is not supported by default in X.org. I've seen some mention about this topic in backstreet Ruby, but changing to a specific - backlevel - kernel and XFree86 distribution doesn't seem like an attractive option for me. Does anyone have any experience in this area you might want to share? More context about what I am trying to do here: http://mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv-users/2005-January/070227.html Again, I am stuck at this last step. I would greatly appreciate ANY hint. Re: [mythtv-users] Favorite Universal Remote? Buying Tips
I spent a bit more and got a you-beaut Universal Remote Controls "Osiris" (MX-350). This has a programable LCD which is VERY useful for something like MythTV. I bought mine from BlueDo in the States (www.bluedo.com) for about $US150. I also set up an IR transmitter from the PC so I can generate some discrete control codes (which the MX-350 learned) to simplify things like switching TV inputs directly to MythTV. I'm thinking of buying the RF extender as well since sometimes you have to point the remote at the TV, sometimes at the digital set top box and sometimes at the MythTV box. I used this command to dump each table: mysqldump -u root -p mythconverg record > record.table.sql mysqldump -u root -p mythconverg recorded > recorded.table.sql mysqldump -u root -p mythconverg recordedmarkup > recordedmarkup.table.sql (I suppose you could dump all three at once, but I wanted to look at each of them..and I like to do things the hard way). I then edited the dump files so that the only sql commands left were the "INSERT into..." commands. I don't need the table building commands because the tables are already there in the new backends database. Now, when I tried to import those files into my new database, I got an erro on the "recorded" table. So I looked at the new table: mysql -u root -p mythconverg mysql> show columns from recorded; and noticed that the rows lastmodified, filesize, stars, previouslyshown, and originalairdate were all new in 0.16 (I was coming from 0.15). The defaults are NULL, 0, 0, 0, NULL respectively. I simply added those five values to the end of every "INSERT into ..." line that was in my recorded.table.sql file. Then the import went fine. Thanks, that was a good start. I think "oldrecorded" is the one I actually needed. I exported that, and removed the table creation stuff. Like you said, there were more columns in the new one, but I tried it anyways and it seemed to work. The only errors it gave were for a few recordings that had duplicates, ie I guess the new backend had already recorded them again? Or maybe it was the nuvimported ones... Anyhow, I used -f on the import and it kept going. Now the recording schedule looks good. Have I missed anything? Is it possible to make mythtv forget the old recording history from within the menus? Thanks to all who helped- Tim ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
[mythtv-users] Backend looping after a schedule_change
Hi all, Current CVS (morning 27-Jan-05), two backends. After a period of running, a backend will get stuck looping after a schedule check. [mythtv-users] Time offset; losing first few seconds of recordings
Hello, I am losing approximately 3 seconds off of the start of my recordings in MythTV. I am using a PVR-350, so I'm guessing the source of this delay (the time is sync'd by NTP) is due to the time it takes for the PVR-350 to tune the tuner. So, what I would like to do is offset the time (on the system, if necessary) by roughly three seconds. Setting the pre-record time in Options isn't particularly helpful because if two programs are back-to-back, it ignores it. I thought it would be a straightforward matter to add a delay while syncing by NTP, but it seems I was wrong. Any ideas on how I can do this? -- Ian Trider [EMAIL PROTECTED] ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
[mythtv-users] OT:Anything wrong with using a 2.4.x kernel?
After long trials on getting both my PVR-350 and HD-3000 working under FC3 (i think I tried everything) I've decide to start over again from scratch. I've decided to use Debian "Sarge" and would like to know is there any reason to, on my MythTV-only box, not use a 2.4.x kernel. The default install is 2.4.27-2-686, and if there aren't any major reasons for me to go to a 2.6.x kernel then I'm going to try my luck under the default one. So, am I asking for trouble by doing so? Also, are the any > issues with hostname, etc? > > Tim > I recently moved to a new backend as well. What I did was centered around three tables: record, recorded and recrodedmarkup. From what I read, these were the most important tables to get into the new system. -- I have some G-Mail invites. Let me know if you want on ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users

Mythphone does not even touch the webcam until you enter the mythphone plugin; so if it is crashing when you run mythfrontend something else is wrong. The "Unknown method" error looks like it could be the problem; can you send me a copy of the ~/.mythtv/MythPhone/siplog.txt file? [mythtv-users] imdb metadata getting clobbered by frontend
I'm running one front+backend box (running KnoppMyth R4V5) and one frontend-only box (XBox). I rip DVDs on the frontend because my backend has no DVD drive yet, and watch them on both machines. So far so good, until I rename the videos and pretty them up with imdb metadata and poster pics using video setup. On the backend box I can rename the video files ripped from DVD and successfully grab the imdb info and poster images. The menu has the movie poster icons and it looks great - as long as I watch the videos on the backend box. However, when I bring up the video menu on the frontend XBox, every video's metadata displays as if they were just ripped - that is, all the metadata for every ripped DVD gets wiped out (reverts to the default ugly file names, loses the imdb number, notes, and poster filename). If I do the opposite, i.e. grab the imdb data on the Xbox, just the opposite happens, i.e. looks ok on the Xbox until viewing on the KnoppMyth box wipes out the metadata. In either case, the metadata is clobbered on both machines - not just the one which first triggers the erasure. Try to watch a video on the backend machine and the imdb info is back to default values as if the DVDs were just ripped. I'm going to have a look at the MySQL logs tonight - meanwhile any tips or pointers on what might be happening here would be appreciated. -Russ ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users

You could check this by logging on as root and looking at $PATH. Why is executing as root? Because it's in /etc/cron.d/ - I think these jobs execute as root as it doesn't know which other user to execute them as. There may be a way to tell it but I don't know what that is. If it was in myth's crontab it would have executed as myth and the problem would probably not have occurred. [mythtv-users] frontend dies causes backend to die too
Hello, I have had this annoying, and 100% reproducible problem: If the mythtv front-end cannot open the ALSA audio device (e.g. it is in use by another application), then not only does the frontend die, but the backend (on another computer) commits suicide, too. Has anyone else had this problem? This is mythtv 0.16-1, the Debian packages. I can live with the fact the frontend dies (a user friendly error message might be better), but it should not crash the backend. Also another related issue: If the backend is restarted, any frontends still running come up with an error message the next time it tries to access the backend. One the second attempt it works. It would be nice, IMHO, if it tried to reopen the connection with the backend first before displaying this (potentially confusing) error. -- Brian May <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users

[mythtv-users] PVR-350 - X via tv-out - tveeprom
Greetings, I followed jarod's MythTV on FC3 guide. After much tinkering I finally got X working over the TV-out for the pvr-350 running on a fully updated FC3 system. I found the fix for the tveeprom Error -19 that was occuring (adding the alias in modprobe.conf) but now X over pvr-350's tv-out no longer works after adding that alias. I've also never been able to get it to recognize the cable signal (tuner0 / input type = 4) and be able to change channels, though it did seem to work piping S-video (svideo0 / input type 6 I think). I'm using coax cable from the wall that I know works (it works when I plug it into my tivo). The end result I'm after is to be able to replace my tivo with my mythtv box, and put another tuner card into it to be able to record 2 shows at once. Just getting it working with 1 tuner is the current goal. I've done a bit of reading through the various online documentation and mailing lists, but I can't seem to get it quite right. Vol Down ([) > keycode 174 = bracketleft bracketleft bracketleft bracketleft Andy, I'm not at home, so can't see my mythbox at the moment, but the syntax above doesn't seem to look quite right. Mine were in the form keycode ### = function where function would be the relevant key that you wanted it to map to e.g. keycode 123 = F12 It didn't seem to need to have the repeats. Because I got it to a point where it was working fairly well (and because other issues with my Mythbox are causing me more problems), I never worked out the full set of key names, so as to what the correct way to represent the keys are, I'm not sure. As I'm using KnoppMyth, there is a prewritten script to start up the mythfrontend. I modified the mythfrontend line in that script from exec mythfrontend; to exec xmodmap modmapfile | exec mythfrontend; I think the script is called KnoppMyth-run in /usr/local/bin (but again not sure) Hope that helps. I'm fully aware that my setup with the 771 remote is less than ideal. I should really work out a way to use lirc properly rather than hack the kernel code and use modmaps, but I've not a lot of time to experiment at the moment, and now that the box is in regular use, it's going to be hard to take it away from the TV without upsetting someone :) Simon ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users

Ok, but i have a filter that filters mythtv to another folder so my inbox doesn't get clutter. If you would like help, it would have been helpful if you had described the steps you went through to install the Nvidia drives. Such as whether you are installing from RPMs or the Nvidia installer. Also helpful would be to know what you changed in your xorg.conf. I used the nvidia installer from 6629 to 6111 to 6106, all on fresh installs. I tried the nvidia sample tvout that comes with knoppmyth. I used my XF86Config-4 file i use for my sis card with the driver changed and any sis specifics. I also installed Knoppmyth with the tv option, which creates a vesa X config file for tvout, and just changed the driver to nvidia (and removed GLORE and added glx like nvidia mentions). I also used the nv driver and that gives like a scrambled picture on my tv. All of this i had mentioned before. The X error messages would also be really helpful to know and would probably allow someone to solve your problem in 30 seconds. Like my message said there was no error message. It goes through the different resolutions/color depth in the X config file and finally settles on an X session with about 13-20 vertical white bars. Re: [mythtv-users] MythLCD questions
I am the least knowledgeable person about MythLCD, probably, but I did look through the source. My impression of it is that it's a bit of proof of concept code, demonstrating how you could do integration with LCDproc. The only way to get it is to rebuild all your myth components from source with the lcd portions turned on. It seems like somewhere between a demo and a work-in-progress; in fact, in my brief inspection it wasn't clear if there is anything working yet. It looks like a neato project, though, if you can code, know the relevant codebases (or want to learn them), are willing to work from the cvs tree instead of the release, and have the time to devote to this decidedly non-core feature. [mythtv-users] MythLCD questions
I'm considering getting a LCD or VFD for my MythBox, but I have a few questions first: 1. Does MythLCD support graphical LCDs/VFDs? I saw a few posts back in February (http://tinyurl.com/6qe2l) where somebody was working on this, but I can't find a real follow-up. 2. What sort of information can I expect on the display in Live TV? in Recorded TV? in MythMusic? in MythVideo? 3. I checked my install (FC2 - atrpms), but mythlcd isn't there. You can see these with: mysql> select chanid, contrast, brightness, colour, hue from channel; You could set all the saturation, for example, at once with: mysql> update channel set colour=35000; then adjust individual stations with the "G" key functions. Matt, you need to take the output from your PVR-350 and pipe it back in to your soundcard's line-in. Then your soundcard output goes to your TV. Depending on your cables, you'll need to get 2 cables, stereo minijack to RCA male to connect to the PVR-350 outputs, and a stereo minijack to male/female depending on how it connects to your TV, if you have male/male extension cords etc. Alex ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users

Should udev not play the game after reboot, log in as root and run the commands you had to do to get /dev/dvb/adapter0 to appear the first time. Check again for the existence of /dev/dvb/adapter0/ and if it is there copy it like this: # cp -a /dev/dvb /etc/udev/devices/ To allow user 'mythtv' access to the device files change ownership like this: # chown mythtv:mythtv /etc/udev/devices/dvb/adapter0/* This makes udev create the device files on every boot and gives 'mythtv' access to them. Indeed, only some users will guess this. On the other hand, I am loathe to add complexity to UIs. Mythweb doesn't actually technically have a movie search, the "Movie" link is just a call to the search page with a preset query for the category type being a movie. You would not want the star choice to appear on a non-movie search (it's meaningless there) so now you might want to detect it is the special movie search and display the SELECT box in the HTML if it was. This could all be done, of course. Or keep the interface simple and instead link to a HELP page for searching, since it's pretty easy to remember you type in "" to search for 4-star movies. In fact, I've tried that in various situations since the stars appear in the display, you think you might be able to search for them but of course they are not in the actual text. Sorry the patch was garbled in the mailing list I would have attached it had I known. > > example. I'd also like to be able to have different expiry times > > based on the priority of a recording. Are features like this in the > > works? People have debated revising the autoexpire code to prioritize on more than just time, and priority is an obvious choice. Again, complexity of UI is a big issue. Long term I want to see pools of storage (permanent, explicit, automatic, recommended, suggested, deleted) where roughly a recording made in one of these categories doesn't delete a higher level one, ie. only made if there is space. Making it be the same as the recording priority is the simplest UI so it's probably what will happen. > > > > > A 4* and above search might not be out of the question. Get a monkey wrench and tighten down each F connector in the house (not just the one connected to the card) to be a little more than finger tight. I believe it is an 11 or 13mm wrench. Had to do it last weekend. :) Also of some help is terminators on any unused jack. RS sell packs of 2 for ~1.50. And then try a signal amplifier. I use an adjustable wrench. The explanation I'd heard is that if the connector is loose it may not be fully terminated and the cable may act as an antenna picking up interference. What I've found in my own experience is that I have a lot of drops and splitters all over the house and a bad channel in one location may actually be the result of a loose connection in another room even if the picture isn't as bad where the loose connection is. These suggests are for a week signal, which will cause the problem you are describing and can be easily checked by plugging the cable straight into the TV. Someone else suggested adding a tuner type to your modprob.conf, which it could also be. If the tuner type was wrong it would have the wrong freq info and all the channels would be mis-tuned. An interference pattern on one or a handful of stations is most likely a signal problem. -- bjm ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users

Re: [mythtv-users] adjusting the color and hue of a particular channel at record time with pvr-250
Right. You misunderstood me. I said "strange omission on the part of the hardware". I would have thought the hardware (i.e. the PVR-250 card) would have had the ability to (i.e. by programming registers, just like programming encoding qualities such as bitrate and so on) adjust the color/hue/saturation/balance, etc. of the signal coming out of the tuner before going into the compressor (i.e. all on the card). ivtvctl -y --set-ctrl=[ctrl]= sets the control to the value specified [VIDIOC_S_CTRL] ctrl: brightness =<#> Picture brightness, or more precisely, the black level. [0 - 255] hue=<#> Hue or color balance. [-128 - 127] saturation =<#> Picture color saturation or chroma gain. [0 - 127] contrast =<#> Picture contrast or luma gain. [0 - 127] volume =<#> Overall audio volume. [0 - 65535] mute =<#> Mute audio, i. e. set the volume to zero [boolean] It's there within the saa7115 capture chip. No resistors required... just an adjustment on the capture chip before it even gets to the MPEG encoder. Don't know how to have mythtv do it on a per channel basis, but that's been more or less covered by others. -Cory * * Cory Papenfuss* * Electrical Engineering candidate Ph.D. graduate student * * Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University * * ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
Re: [mythtv-users] Favorite Universal Remote? Buying Tips
Yeah. I got the Harmony 676 remote for Xmas. It's on the expensive side but for me it truly is universal so it's worth it. My wife likes it and I can put all of my other remotes away finally. You connect it to your computer through USB and download all of your remote profiles to it from their website. They had the profiles for all of my remotes including the pvr-250 grey remote. What I really like about it is you can set up activities like 'Watch MythTV' or 'Watch a DVD' and it turns on all the appropriate components and puts them on the right inputs. Logitech is having a giveaway for the remote I have btw: http://www.logitech.com/promotions/promo.cfm?contentid=9927&countryid=19&languageid=1&ad=camp39 -- Chris --- M S <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Definitely check out the Harmony line of remotes > from Logitech! > http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/productlistharmony/US/EN,CRID=2080 > > You can get them for almost half the price as MSRP > on newegg.com > > http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&catalog=283&manufactory=8060&DEPA=0 > > > On Wed, 26 Jan 2005 11:21:28 -0500, PAUL WILLIAMSON > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Funny you should say that. [mythtv-users] onboard TV out using i810 with Xorg
I progressing nicely with my fedora => gentoo transition on my mythtv system. My current issue is with getting the TV out to work with my onboard chipset. In fedora (using XFree86), I just unplugged the vga adapter and TV out worked flawlessly. Now, I am using Xorg and my old XFree86 config file doesn't work as an xorg.conf file (even after a lot of editting). My question is then two-fold. 1) If someone is using the onboard TV out with the i810 driver (I'm actually using the 865 chipset), I would love to see a working Xorg.conf. 2) Is there a good autoconfiguring, xorg-based, iso distribution that I can steal a working xorg.conf for my TV from? I've tried Knoppix, which works fine, except it uses XFree86. Thanks to all. -- Travis ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users

Thanks Will... Well that cleared up a few things then. I'm using the tuner input on the PVR so the line-in on the PVR should be left empty. I do have a cable running from the DVD to the sound card...I guess I just need to go out the sound card into the AUX in on my stereo receiver. It should be connected to your picture source unless you are using the tuner input. In that case it should not be connected to anything. The 350 outputs the sound as part of the mpeg stream and does not require a connection to your sound card. Your dvd drive on the other hand does require a connection to the sound card. All the Search Words pages allow you to cycle through each of your stored keywords by simply pressing Home and End. A related question is whether it is possible to automatically record all movies with at least a certain number of stars. Might be a nice feature to have... [mythtv-users] [OT] Re: Problems using MythTV - errors with channel parameters
Hi, Gavin Hurlbut wrote: First off, it's not "my" software. Secondly, bitching and complaining when you obviously haven't done your research (such as reading the -dev mailing list to see that the DVB Patch had been committed to CVS), and haven't kept current with CVS... That's not a problem with the software. That's a problem with the user. I don't agree with that. Software guidelines and research about software engineering tells a complete other view. They say the problem user does not exist. (I know that this is a very provoking statement) I cannot be the duty of the user to read a complete mailing list to get a software running. The duty of an user is to read documenation like a handbook, an usage guide, a howto or anything else in this form. That was what I have done to run my mythtv and my experience was that documentation had lots of holes or obselete parts. Especially DVB setup is not described very well. Btw the best software in the intention of software enginering is intuitional usable software, because documentation is not needed there (but I always say, continue your dream). After some hints from mailing lists to http://www.digitalregime.com/mythdvb/ I get my mythtv running. Personally for open source projects I don't write back to people and critize their attitude. This always frights users off. It is clear in such situation that some people are frustrated because of bad documentation (yes the problem is very well know by an open source project I'm development member), but nobody of us writes (or should write) such mails to the people. We try to help them... and come on this is a user list and not a development list ;-) If you get lots of mails like that, perhaps it is time to do something against that? When nothing will be done until I get some more time , I will to try to write a complete howto, but I cannot do that without help. Because imho a change here is needed. So don't complain about attitude, my original post was more from the frustration and anger about the software and that is not ok, but your reaction was also not ok for my opinion. I did not offend you (I hope so) in my original post, so why have you done that to me or the cattles? They cannot answer back, I can ;-). Btw. another persons has told me why -march=pentiumpro and I can understand that. Perhaps if you want to talk to optimization guru go to http://www.fefe.de. He had done a very good presentation about gcc optimization a few years ago :-). Cheers, Michael Obster -- mailto: [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.obster.org 1. It looks like I was basically correct in my understanding, except that the changes in 2.1 affect the program guide which overlays the video, while the changes in 2.2 seem to affect the other overlays while playing video. I've not got all of these fitting on the screen, but have an additional problem. Some of the setup menus are too full. For example, the Utilities/Setup -> Setup -> TV Settings -> Playback menu is so large that the Back and Next buttons are below the bottom of the window that myth is using for the display. This isn't an overscan problem, as I can see the bottom edge of the window. Any suggestions for this? Similarly, there are many menus in which I can only see part of the help text. (And this was a problem even before resizing the output window.) Can the help text be scrolled? Thanks! That works perfectly. Isn't open source wonderful? By the way, the patch is a bit corrupted in that archive, but I made the changes by hand. I've attached the patch here in case others want to try it. I think it might be practical if limited to 4 star movies, especially if expiry can be made more sophisticated. Large movies recorded by such a rule could be made to expire earlier than other recordings, for example. I'd also like to be able to have different expiry times based on the priority of a recording. Re: [mythtv-users] bob deinterlacing and animated shows
Based on Brad and Denier's comments, it seems unlikely that I'll find a solution for using Bob or any other deinterlacing filter to fix the interlacing issues - instead, I would have to explore the transcoding route - which unfortunately, is much too complex for me. So, my plan of attack should be simply getting rid of the lines on my TV, which like Brad said, shouldn't be there to begin with. I am driving my TV at 720x480, using the following modeline: Modeline "720x480" 26.7 720 736 808 896 480 481 484 497 Overscan is enabled by using Option "TVVScan" "over" in my xorg.conf file Within MythTV, I have Vertical and Horizontal overscan percentage set to +8 - does this actually affect the video output? I thought it only changed things like the size of the OSD. I've read about some patches provided by Terry Barnaby that resolve some scaling issues, but they are only for 720x576 PAL video. Could that be my issue? Does anybody have the equivalent for NTSC? Now the fonts are a good size, and the GUI is fairly snappy. I find it a little ironic that myth needs an incorrect dpi setting in order to get things the correct size. The point of telling X your screen's dpi is so that applications can choose font sizes in a way that makes them show up the right size... [mythtv-users] X and PVR 350
I've finally managed to pass some video through my PVR 350' s TV out* so the next step is to try and get X running. For some reason IVTV is not being run while the system boots, so I'm currently doing: # /sbin/depmod -a # /sbin/modprobe ivtv Then editing my xorg.conf file to give me the appropriate settings and pressing ctr-alt-backspace to restart X. Unfortunately, and somewhat predictably, the X Server refuses to restart. Some information. I'm using FC3 Following Jarod's guide I'm in the UK so I'm trying to get the thing to display on a PAL TV cat /var/log/messages |grep "iTVC15 TV out" returns: Jan 26 16:22:14 localhost kernel: ivtv-osd: fb1: iTVC15 TV out frame buffer device /sbin/lspci -v returns: 02:09.0 Multimedia video controller: Internext Compression Inc iTVC15 MPEG-2 Encoder (rev 01) Subsystem: Hauppauge computer works Inc. If part of the problem is that I should be using ivtv 0.2.0rc3c then I need to know how to 'downgrade'. I've also attached my modprobe.conf and xorg.conf files as it's probably in one of those that the problem lies. Thanks, Chris *If anybody knows why my PVR 350 initialises with the SAA7127 PAL settings but then switches to NTSC whenever I remove and then reload the SAA7127 module then I'd be most greatful! xorg.conf Description: Binary data modprobe.conf Description: Binary data ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
