Happens to me all the time, to fix I exit the pop-up then press "i". That
pop-up is always fine, and then I close it and return to "m" which is now
fine. Hope that works for you as well.

Soon, but not yet. (More specifically, on the 27th.)

Log in to http://labs.zap2it.com/ and check your lineups. Most likely

I still can't download channel lineups, though. I've sent mail to

Just for grins, I also deleted the lineups and recreated them on

I'm not hopeful that that'll make a difference. I'm just about at my

Good to know. These were the commands I was using before the svn switch.

cvs -d :pserver:mythtv:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/lib/mythcvs login
nice -n 19 cvs -z3 -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/lib/mythcvs

I'm the guy that was having the problem, so here's the fix I'm using
successfully:

edit the mythtv source for mythtv/programs/mythfilldatabase/filldata.cpp

For me it's line 2875, but I'm not using a current cvs version. Do a
search for "%d 18" (minus quotes) and replace the 18 with 21.
Unfortunately I have to do this for every cvs update I make, but once
done I no longer have problems.

Sure some newly added days to the schedule have NO DATA after 9pm, but
it updates it when there is data, so it never gets to the point that I
have NO DATA on the current day.

Hope this helps.

Quite a while ago I asked what the proper cvs command to update would be
so this is what I now do:

1.  Shutdown mythbackend
2. cd mythv && make clean && make distclean
3.  cd .. && tar zvcf mythtv-currentdate.tar.gz mythtv/
4.  cvs -d :pserver:mythtv:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/lib/mythcvs login
5.  nice -n 19 cvs -z3 -d
:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/lib/mythcvs update -d -PAC mythtv
6.  nice -n 19 mysqldump -u mythtv -pmythtv mythconverg -c > currentdate.sql
7.  nice -n 19 gzip currentdate.sql
8.  cd mythtv/ && ./configure --options-go-here && make && sudo make
uninstall && su -c "make install"
9.  mythtv-setup

There probably better ways to do this, and in fact I use a crappy little
python script to do the database dump and backups, and I'm not totally
sure if the make uninstall is absolutely necessary. Also the reason I
use su -c rather than sudo for the install is that I've noticed recently
that there is some sort of qt path problem when trying to install with
sudo for me, but works perfectly with su.

Hope that's all of some help.

The CVS version of MythMusic is slightly broken at the moment.
It all depends on what version of the musicmetadata table you have

All you have to do to fix it is change the value of the
currentDatabaseVersion
in the MythMusic version of dbcheck.cpp from
const QString currentDatabaseVersion = "1001";
to
const QString currentDatabaseVersion = "1002";
then recompile etc. The next time you run mythmusic the musicmetadata
table will be updated to the new version required by the latest cvs version
of MythMusic.
There is a patch from Colin Guthrie that adds compilation album stuff
to MythMusic that also includes some updates to the musicmetadata
table and the dbcheck.cpp file that should also fix the problem once it has
been applied to the CVS.

A quick recompile and I can confirm that this does indeed fix the

I've managed to compile mythtv and it seemed to compile cleanly and install
ok, but when I try to run any command with myth in front of it, or ./setup
in /home/peter/downloads/mythtv-0.16/setup/ brings back the response:

error while loading shared libraries: libmythtv-0.16.so.0: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory

I've tried suid
I've tried google
I've tried scratching my head but have little hair left :)
My tv card works fine in xawtv
I'm running Mandrake 10
Thanks
Peter.

I remember having a similar problem a while back, and basically what I
think I ended up doing was creating a symlink.

Here's my current setup.
ls -l /usr/local/lib/
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root root   24 Dec  2 14:34 libmythtv-0.16.so ->
libmythtv-0.16.so.0.16.0
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root root   24 Dec  2 14:34 libmythtv-0.16.so.0 ->
libmythtv-0.16.so.0.16.0
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root root   24 Dec  2 14:34 libmythtv-0.16.so.0.16 ->
libmythtv-0.16.so.0.16.0
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root root 34207974 Dec  2 14:34 libmythtv-0.16.so.0.16.0

Maybe that will help.

I've upgraded to last nights cvs and can also confirm that this problem
is now gone.
