[newbie] kwvdial ??????

2000-08-02 Thread Mike Koceja

hello all.
i am running Mandrake 7.1 and I have had a lot of
problems getting kppp to work. So I ditched it and
decided to use kwvdial. I downloaded the rpm installed
it and everything seemed to be working nicely. It
dials logsin and claims to have connected. The only
problem is that when I go to open netscape it turns
out that I'm not really connected after all. I am
really at a loss here. I would hate to have to scrap
Linuw now. I have everything else working nicely all I
nedd is to be able to dialup and connect to the
Internet. Please Someone help me out here.

[newbie] kppp connection

2000-07-16 Thread Mike Koceja
I have been having a problem connecting. I have included below a copy of the communication script I have set up as well as a copy of the log. All personal data has been replaced with the symbol #. If at all possible a copy of a working script would be nice to look at. Any help at all will be appreciated.

It will say something like press Delete to enter setup. When it says that press and hold the!
delete key until it opens up. One last thing it might not be delete. Delete is just the most common it might be a differnt key so just watch when it boots upMike Koceja
