Spurs fan I work with had a great idea for England team selection

Throw the first 23 selected away, then select the next best 23. At least
they'll be hungry and motivated.

I think we're stuffed and will be lucky to win a game. I don't really rate
Lampard but now that he's out we have called up Jordan Henderson who this
year for Liverpool contributed 2 goals and 1 assist in 37 games. Also with
no Rooney for the first two games we could be homeward bound before he
 kicks a ball in anger.

Depressing times for England. At least things are looking much rosier for
 Wolves.

I think they may surprise you Marcus.

I am expecting us to at least reach the quarter finals.

France are poor at the moment and we should also account for Ukraine. Sweden
is going to be the hardest game.

I wont be surprised after last night if Wenger makes some ridiculous offers,
e.g. for the likes of Doyle or Jarvis, among other others. He's got loads of

he'll be a gonner not a gooner.

RE: [NSWolves] England matches live

2011-03-24 Thread Marcus Chantry
I am entirely confident that you could go back through all of my emails
over the past few years and not only would they offer clear, concise,
objective and rational discussions, but there would be an even split
between positive negative posts. I am not always negative, but I do
have a tendency to get negative about certain players (Henry Jarvis in
particular) and also our Manager.

Got me thinking did that.

If someone holds a permanently negative view of the club they claim to
'support', can they really call themselves a 'supporter'? Should you not
just say that that is the club you associate yourself with, not to
support, but to give you something to moan and be negative about.

Its like people who say they hate the very sight of their husband/wife
and yet stay with them year after year. If something gave me that much
displeasure I'd find an alternative that gave me reason to be cheerful.
Life's too short.

And apparently so might by Stearman and O'Hara.

Fletcher is scottish. Most of our team plays for a national side at

Utter tripe.

You constantly slate Jarvis but this is not balanced by constat positive
comments about another player.

Give us an example of the last time you said something clearly positive
about a player

RE: [NSWolves] England matches live

2011-03-24 Thread Marcus Chantry
December 13th 2010:

I never thought I'd see the day that Ward actually looked like someone
who deserved to wear the Old Gold shirt. Ward, Hunt and Ebanks-Blake
were all immense this morning. SEB ran his bug butt into the ground
chasing everything. Ward showed some great attacking touches and
demonstrated that he should never be allowed to play in defence again.
Hunt had his best game so far for us.
