RE: DirectAccess HowTo?
I ended up using the MSFT lab documentation. It works well, altho there is a latency that I have not yet figured out. After running the DA wizard it appears to take a GP update cycle (regardless of running gpupdate and restarting iphlpsvc on all servers and clients) before the DA becomes usable. As I remember the PKI wasn't too bad, the hardest part was migrating it from 2003 to 2008 last year. We had set it up quite a while back. How difficult was the PKI infrastructure to setup? We had a hiccup with that which required a call to PSS to get figured out, and even that took a few days, and just happened to find the one guy who said did you clear this cache? Be sure you install the DirectAccess Connectivity Assistant on your client PCs. It provides some good troubleshooting logs that will help considerably if you have client connectivity failures. It also provides a visual indicator of DA connectivity in the system tray.
