Re: [nycwireless] stupid question about vonage
Vonage tells you that you need to get a special line for faxes. You have to pay about $10 for it per month. I have the small business package that includes the additional fax number and it works. I've been a Vonage customer for about 6 months. They've lowered the international rates twice and the monthly rate once. I couldn't be any happier and I'm never going back to Verizon again. Hope this helps. What are you using to fax with? Which VOIP box did they give you? Thanks, Jonathan Jose Marinez wrote: Vonage tells you that you need to get a special line for faxes. ug ... redhat hell i think ... i have no idea but my /initrd folder suddenly disappeared and apparently this is taboo on RH9 ... it causes a kernel panic and i could not boot, so i went over to XP and used LTOOLS to simply create this empty directory and now ... all i have left is /proc /dev /tmp am i screwed? (considering my cd-rom cant seem to work), do i have any alternatives? i knew sticking with redhat was bad news ... any advise *extremely* appreciated. - jon -- NYCwireless - http://www.nycwireless.net/ Un/Subscribe: http://lists.nycwireless.net/mailman/listinfo/nycwireless/ Archives: http://lists.nycwireless.net/pipermail/nycwireless/

Fax works for sure. Based on that I assume that dialup would work, but only at around 9600. -Gunnar -- NYCwireless - http://www.nycwireless.net/ Un/Subscribe: http://lists.nycwireless.net/mailman/listinfo/nycwireless/ Archives: http://lists.nycwireless.net/pipermail/nycwireless/ -- NYCwireless - http://www.nycwireless.net/ Un/Subscribe: http://lists.nycwireless.net/mailman/listinfo/nycwireless/ Archives: http://lists.nycwireless.net/pipermail/nycwireless/ -- NYCwireless - http://www.nycwireless.net/ Un/Subscribe: http://lists.nycwireless.net/mailman/listinfo/nycwireless/ Archives: http://lists.nycwireless.net/pipermail/nycwireless/ -- NYCwireless - http://www.nycwireless.net/ Un/Subscribe: http://lists.nycwireless.net/mailman/listinfo/nycwireless/ Archives: http://lists.nycwireless.net/pipermail/nycwireless/

I use an HP OfficeJet g85 printer/copier/fax machine and I'm using the Motorola box. I hope this helps.
