Installing OpenMeetings on Windows 2003

2009-04-01 Thread Jeff

I'm trying to get openmeetings installed on Windows Server 2003. I'm
using SQL Server as the database and it is on a different server.
I've gone through the instructions and go to the following url on the
windows server: http://localhost:5080/openmeetings/install and as far
as I can tell have things like the hibernate.cfg.xml file set
properly.

When I go to that page, I get a page that is displayed that says
"Openmeetings - Installation" at the top and there are sections for
userdata, mail server configuration, etc.

The problem I'm having is after I hit the install button. When I do
that, it doesn't error out, but doesn't ever seem to do anything. It
looks like it's trying to get to a page related to a step 2 of the
installation process, but nothing ever shows up. Does anybody have a
suggestion about how to get around this?

Thanks.

Re: Custom OpenMeetings interface

2009-04-01 Thread Sebastian Wagner

*all colors* ... nearly all colors are connected to the base-colors in
the config.xml. All other colors used will be calculated as variation
of the base-colors.
Everything else are then icons and image. You won't be able to change
that by config.
*picture in the header* ... there is no picture in the header, the
word *openmeetings* in the header can be changed via the config.xml

check config.xml (should be in conf dir)
and
red5.properties (in red5 dir) files
You can adjust all ports according to your needs.

Can I get someone to slap together a vmware image with a working version?
I need to get a proof of concept up and running asap, and I have not been

If someone would be nice enough to put that together, I can provide a high

Re: How use rtmpt for openmeetings ?

*OpenMeetings does first try to connect to rtmp if that fails it tries
rtmpt (3 times). If that fails it will display *Could not connect*
So there is NO config needed to use rtmpt as this will happen automatically.*

Re: How use rtmpt for openmeetings ?

2009-04-01 Thread Sebastian Wagner

the rtmp or rtmpt protocol is only used for transfering Data and Audio
and Video Data.
Of course you cannot access the application via your browser at 8088
cause there is no web-server at 8088.

Once again:
OpenMeetings does first try to connect to rtmp if that fails it tries
rtmpt (3 times). If that fails it will display *Could not connect*
So there is NO config needed to use rtmpt as this will happen automatically.

Re: How use rtmpt for openmeetings ?

2009-04-01 Thread bidab

OK,

So, how can I connect into RTMPT because if I connect to the server
with the URL :

http://myserver:5080/openmeetings, it uses RTMP, not RTMPT

I try http://myserver:8088/openmeetings but it doesn't work. (page not
found)

Thanks.

Re: flashlight vnc

2009-04-01 Thread smoeker

hi there,

a very interesting technology for openMeetings is the
ScreenCaptureDriver from the Hmelyoff Labs.

-> The FlashPlugin recognizes the Driver as valid video input device,
u van test it easily by installing the Driver, running the VHCapture
Software, selecting the webcam as capture source , logon to
openMeetings and select
the VHScrap as Video Device - instead of ones lovely picture, u can
see a part of your desktop... it works very nice, maybe thats
something to keep in mind...

see ya

How use rtmpt for openmeetings ?

2009-04-01 Thread bidab

Hi,

I want to use RTMPT protocol with openmeetings.
How make ?

With native application I use the port 1935 for RTMP, it's ok.
I sniff with wireshark and it confirms that I use RTMP with port 1935.

I try to change RTMP port in red5.properties. I change 1935 to 1936
and 1937.
After that, I see that I use rtmpt to connect my server and with
whireshark I just see HTTP frame so it confirms that I use RTMPT.

Is it normal ?

Thanks

Ports use by Openmeetings

2009-04-01 Thread bidab

Hi,

I will try to communicate between internal and external network with
OM. So I must be sure about ports use by OM.

I use whireshark to make a little test:

The port of red5 server is 1935 (RTMP), so it must be open
5080 must be open to access the server
port 80 must be open
8088 for RTMPT but not use...so not open

Is it all ?

Thanks

Re: client customization problem

2009-04-01 Thread bidab

Hi,

For the recording button, it's in the file config.xml. You must change
attribute visible to hidden.
For the other I don't know.

I would like change color of openmeetings, how I can make that ?
Perhaps you know...

Bidab.
