Re: [openmeetings-user] Video size 640x480?

2011-10-12 Thread richardkrieger
google translation:

This is a 640x480 video. I can not make to 480x480, this possibility has not
at the software.

Or do you mean configuration in "openmeetings"? I found nothing except
config.xml. There I can only change quality. There any other way?

've Found: "restricted" room cuts off just right and the left. "conference"
room also cuts off the top and bottom.

Re: [openmeetings-user] Video Camera Popup

2011-10-12 Thread seba.wag...@gmail.com
Hi Sana,

you could use the roomtype "restricted", in that roomtype audio/video is by
default off and everybody either needs to ask or become a moderator to turn
on audio/video.

[openmeetings-user] Video Camera Popup

2011-10-12 Thread sana b
Hi

My question is related to video cam popup during the conference. Is
there any way I as the moderator can close the few users cameras
during the conference, for instance if fifty people are in the
conference room and everybody wants to join the room as the audio
video enabled conference, then there might be a little problem.

[openmeetings-user] Modify top Menu bar of Conference

2011-10-12 Thread sana b
Hi

I want to modify the top menu bar appear during the conference.
Suppose, I want to add "vote" button horizontally besides Actions
Button, e.g., in conference menu when we press "actions" we have three
vote related options (create a vote, etc.), I want to bring these vote
related options in separate cmd button besides Actions cmd button in
conference menu. Relatively close working example will be, screen
sharing button that works as a separate cmd button, and also inside
the action menu. Similarly in action drop down menu we have
co-browsing, etc., but I want this feature to be enabled in the form
of separate button appear besides (exit, files, actions) buttons of
conference menu.

Secondly, Is it possible if I want to open any web URL (by clicking on
the menu button) to be opened on the top of Whiteboard area (not as
the separate popup window e.g., as in the 1_5 version when we click on
co-browsing link under action drop down menu it open as the separate
drag-able popup window, but I want it to open on the top of Whiteboard
IFrame (exact size) and may be not drag-able).

Moreover, in latest version, we can add multiple whiteboards (as we
know), with relation to second paragraph, the whiteboard 1 Iframe will
be used for documents, pdf, etc. files co-sharing, and whiteboard 2
Iframe will be used for url co-browsing.

Looking forward for your response

Sana

May be here I missunderstood dramaticly:

which downloadurl did you mentioned?
the moodle downloadurl for the user picture or something else?

I first understood the moodle-pic downloadurl.

Re: [openmeetings-user] getRoombyId : Userlevel-1 not allowed

2011-10-12 Thread seba.wag...@gmail.com
What version are you using of OpenMeetings?

ERROR 08-10 10:14:52.497 Roommanagement.java 530336238 164
org.openmeetings.app.data.conference.Roommanagement [http-0.0.0.0-80-42] -
getRoombyId : Userlevel-1 not allowed

The error is rather strange cause actually userlevel 1 is allowed to do the
action to getRoomById and the check method does exactly check for that.

Does the error happen constantly or only in certain situations?
Maybe on startup of the server or something like that?

Well you can download the video as AVI/FLV and upload it again into the
File-Explorer of any conference room to make it available to other users.

Re: [openmeetings-user] Video size 640x480?

2011-10-12 Thread seba.wag...@gmail.com
yeah,

you should try to resize the webcam to 640x480 and not 480x480 before you
re-sync / re-publishing the video stream.
Or in other words: Resize to ratio of 4:3 instead of 1:1 before re-syncing /
re-publishing the video stream.

[openmeetings-user] getRoombyId : Userlevel-1 not allowed

2011-10-12 Thread es
Hi,

there is sometimes an error occuring after logging someone into
OpenMeetings via webservice.
I'm roughly doing the following:
1. sessionId = userService.getSession().getSession_id()
2. userService.loginUser(sessionId, adminLogin, adminPassword)
3. XYZ = userService.setUserObjectAndGenerateRoomHash(sessionId,
login,
name,
name2,
"",
email,
id,
"SYSTEM",
roomId,
moderatorFlag,
new Integer(0));
4. Call the URL: .../openmeetings/?secureHash=XYZ

An error is occuring when trying to load the room (last line in
below's log). What am I doing wrong?
Is it possible that the user is not assigned a new id "early enough"?
Is it possible that it happens only when users are logged in
concurrently that way?

Any help is greatly appreciated! :-)

Re: [openmeetings-user] Re: New Moodle Module 1.2 for OpenMeetings

2011-10-12 Thread seba.wag...@gmail.com
You could either use Firebug to see if there is an issue with the URL or
edit the view.php to run the debug version of OpenMeetings (by commenting
out the line
http://code.google.com/p/openmeetings/source/browse/trunk/plugins/moodle_plugin/view.php#175)

You should see something like "media timout" in the client side debugger.

I think the demo platform on moodle.openmeetings.de is also Moodle 2.1.x.

Yes, the demo works. So I have an issue on my installation.
I do not get the user picture from moodle into openmeetings.
1.8.4 using moodle plugin 1.2 on moodle 2.1.2

what else can I check?

Re: [openmeetings-user] ScreenViewer issue with 1.8.4 Build r4387

2011-10-12 Thread seba.wag...@gmail.com
Hi,

you need to use the default one (screen_viewer type == 4).
You can set that in the Administration > Configuration ... and retest then.

The Screeenviewer on port 4445 is no more running. The screenviewer works on
the same port like flash does.

2011-10-12 Thread Chetan Jain
I have installed Openmeetings 1.8.4.r4387 with all the instructions All
the features except the ScreenViewer ( ScreenSharing ) doesn't seem to be
working at all... I have tested both Default and jDesktop...

When i try the default one, the screen opens but when I click on Start
Sharing it gives me a "Java Exception" and below that i could see couldnot
connect to http://red5.domain.com:4445... I have all ports open for this
server.. Also when i do a netstat -ant, i cannot see 4445 listed there.

When i try the jDesktop it gives me a direct Java Exception Error... I saw
someone posted same issue yesterday in the issues page...
