Kyle,

There are 2 parts to the ZFS boot/install project. Boot and Install ;-)

The boot portion for x86 was integrated a while back and the remaining 
support (for SPARC and swap/dump) was integrated into b88. Information 
about that putback can be found on the ZFS boot page 


As Glenn accurately pointed out, the install portion of the project is 
currently targeting build 90. To help people try out the new install 
support, the team is also trying to get an install kit posted to their 
project page in the next week or so. Watch zfs-discuss for an announcement.

As for the ZFS boot support, it's not in b87, but rather in b88, and the 
changes to installer to support zfs boot are coming in b89, see here:

"Further changes to the Install consolidation are required to install
ZFS as the root file system. These changes are planned for Install
build 89.  Once these changes have integrated, we will release a
heads up statement."

Thanks everyone. I didn't know it would be announced today or I wouldn't 
have posted. I knew this info comes out when the build is posted, but I 
wasn't sure what info was available *before* the build is  posted. I'll 
check the links first nexttime.

Not gonna see that in B87.  At last check, that project was targeting
build 90 (but that's not a guarantee).
