[opensuse] KDE4- where system:/ media:/ sysinfo:/ ???
Hi ! I have just installed KDE4, basically works fine, but I see 2 problems. 1) Special URLs like system:/, media:/, sysinfo:/.do not work anymore May be I have missed to install something, or these URLs are not yet supported in KDE4 ? 2) It is impossible to use any other icon theme exept Oxygen and KDE Classic. Hi, Chris, I had the same problem in the past. Would you please tell us how you have solved this problem? I solved this by means by installing original nvidia rpms, but I do not think it is really good solution since the cause of this problem is unknown. Suddenly, from Sunday afternoon, I'm not getting 3D accelleration from my nvidia card even though it is installed and enabled. In the Xorg.0.log I'm seeing the following (II) LoadModule: glx (II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/updates/extensions//libglx.so dlopen: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/updates/extensions//libglx.so: undefined symbol: _nv69gl (EE) Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/updates/extensions//libglx.so (II) UnloadModule: glx (EE) Failed to load module glx (loader failed, 7) I have tried reinstalling x11-video-nvidia and nvidia-gfx-kmp-default but it doesn't seemed to have helped. Hi ! I am in desperate need of Asterisk 1.4 and freePBX 2.3. VX2025 is not listed in SAX hardware profiles, and unfortunately, SAX has a bug and it cannot read driver CD neither from Combo neither from DVD-R I have. I could copy vx2025.inf file, but I cannot find where. [pruned] I bought the VX2025WM 2 days ago and it is running very, very well, thank you on 10.1. And it is running at the native resolution of 1680x1050. Start sax2 and go to monitor change where you select the LCD-- default option -- which is equivalent to VESA-- default -- and there you will find the only entry of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Select this and the Viewsonic will work like magic. (BTW, the monitor is recognised automatically in 10.2 RC1.) A point: you will need to drop the gamma for the monitor (Personal SettingsDisplayGamma) from the 1.0 down to whatever level you feel comfortable with -- I went down to 0.70 gamma -- because the screen is *too* bright :-( . Also, select sRGB colour rather than the default 6500K to get proper colours. Finally, use the digital connection to get better picture but bear in mind that with digital connection you lose 2 monitor controls because they are not needed (read the User Manual on disc). -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
