[openwisp] Doubt on process running as a root: reg
Dear team, All our processes are running smoothly on the ubuntu server but when I read the documents it's showing "All processes are running as the www-data user". but when I saw in* /opt/openwisp2/env/lib/python3.20site-packages/* *all processes were running as "root" not as www-data. Only in /*opt/openwisp2/openwisp2* path files are in the user "root" group as "www-data". Does it cause any effect on the server or application? I have installed the application via ansible package. [openwisp] Sending API request : reg
Greetings... Hii team, I am planning to generate ticket system for routers notifications. If I want to send an API request from openwisp2 hosted server to ticket raising server. How and where can I edit notifications code in the openwisp2? Is it possible ? If the device is not reachable for 10/15 mins I am planning to send notification through API for creating a ticket tracking system. Hii Federico, How to change the port number for the "Send_Command" option. If I change the port number inside the server path "etc/ssh/sshd_config" it will change only for the server ssh port but it does not change it for "Send_Command" and "Firmware_Upgrade". Where I can change the port number for that. Because If my devices/router has a port 52421 it will through an error called connection refused. How can I solve this problem? Dear Federico, The devices are working fine in my public server it's awesome, just I wanted to know, where exactly the code, the data is hitting to the database when device push the data to the server. I know that information collected from the router/device is not directly pushed to the database like influxdb and sqlite.db. In the openwisp2 somewhere the code is written to push the data to the database. I couldn't see that code after researching also. Please let me know where I can see that. But migrations is not happening here: (env) root@NMS-Test1:/opt/openwisp2# ./manage.py migrate --> No migrations to apply but I installed module with little changes those changes are not appearing in the application. Is there any method I have to follow after installing module. To appear those changes migrate is compulsory ryt. How to check those changes in the application? [openwisp] Successfully installed but later changes not able to do.
Hi Federico/team, I am new to Openwisp2 but am able to install run openwsip2 server in public ip. I have installed development version of openwisp2 but I downloaded modules from openwisp github and I have done little changes in the openwisp_controller module and I pushed code into my GitHub repo...but now I tried installing openwisp_controller inside that server: (env) opt/openwisp2/ pip install https://github.com/openwisp_controller/tarball/master/ - it ll install and I can see that code changes in the particualr_module. After that i tried do ./manage.py migrate - No migrations to apply it ll come. If i check the server in browser Server Error 500.After installing, How that changes occur in server?
