Re: [opnfv-tech-discuss] [Yardstick][Storperf] support availability_zone and volume_type

2018-07-03 Thread Mark Beierl
Hello, Ameed.

Availability zone is already supported. I have STORPERF-217 [1] open to be
able to support volume metadata, which would allow for specifying the volume
type. I had started a patch for it [2], but ended up abandoning it. Are you
already an OPNFV contributor? If so, I can assign this JIRA to you and I can
help you get started. If not, let's start the process of getting you set up as
a contributor.

Or, if you are not actually wanting to write code, I can restart this and put
it as the next highest priority item and get it in done over the next week.

Re: [opnfv-tech-discuss] x86 POD for Auto Project

2018-07-03 Thread Cedric OLLIVIER
Hello Trevor,

I don't see the point about development.
As already explained during Release meetings and Weekly Technical
meetings (+mail Tue, 19 Jun 2018), Functest team wants to introduce
Functional Gating which is mandatory for our development.

We do stop linking the test frameworks gating and the installers one
(see the Releng model). It's also the first step towards a possible
rolling release

We are fine to share it with other test projects as long as we don't
get false results (Workflow).

This topic is even more crucial at the beginning of the release because
of the Installer updates and then the lack of results even if MS3.1 is
reached.

[opnfv-tech-discuss][dovetail] Tomorrow's Dovetail meeting

2018-07-03 Thread Georg Kunz
Hi Dovetailers,

Due to Independence Day in the US, I don't expect any project members from the
US to join tomorrow's Dovetail call. Because of this, I'll move the meeting to
an earlier time to allow better participation from China.

The new meeting time is 9am UTC. Please let me know if that doesn't work for
you or if this collides with another OPNFV meeting.

Preliminary agenda

  *   Test case status
  *   Documentation status
  *   Web portal status

Best regards
Georg

What about intel-pod18 or huawei-pod12. They currently run Joid jobs, but with
Fraser release done and development for Joid stopped, maybe one of these can be
repurposed.
