that will provide workflow tracking and data upload capabilities in support

Systems (GIS) road layers from **County Governments and Councils of

(RIMS). Currently, local agency data is not standardized and is **collected
by SCDOT on an ad-hoc basis, therefore resulting in discrepancies between **the
local agencies and SCDOT’s statewide GIS databases.
SCDOT’s desired solution will provide a mechanism for local agencies to
submit data **to SCDOT, data processing routines to assimilate local agency
data to SCDOT **standards, quality control procedures to identify spatial
discrepancies and RIMS **compliance, and data processing to prepare import
files for the RIMS and GIS **systems.*

*The Contractor will develop a solution that meets the following

• Provide a methodology that local agencies will use to submit GIS data to
SCDOT.
• Automatic notifications to SCDOT staff that new data has been uploaded.

Responsible for application testing activities.  Designs and executes Test
Cases per Test Plan.  Works with developers to correct application issues.
Under direct supervision, executes multiple testing activities throughout
the software development lifecycle.



Other responsibilities include:

· Under direct supervision, creates reusable Test Cases/Scenarios
and test scripts based on business requirements and/or application features.

· Executes test scripts per a set Test Plan for a given project or
application utilizing defined testing environments and reports bugs/errors
discovered per standardized tools and processes.

· Runs, creates and monitors automated testing scenarios and/or
regression tests as applicable to applications or projects.

· Performs various types of testing such as User Acceptance Testing
(UAT), performance testing, load/stress testing, ETL testing, database
testing, etc.

· Interfaces with internal and external project team members to
develop and execute all forms of testing on applications and projects in
support of software and production releases.

· Communicates discovered risk to Quality Assurance management team.

· Reports metrics to Quality Assurance management team for workload
management and general reporting.

· Looks for opportunities to improve testing execution and delivery.



*Required Skills:*

· One year of relevant experience or training.

· Knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of testing.

· Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.

· Displays testing mindset in identifying and analyzing software
problems with an ability to identify when software is not functioning as
per requirements.

· Familiarity with SQL queries and database verification.

· Experience testing ETL.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong
interpersonal skills.

· Experience in the movement of applications and information onto a
variety of platforms.

· Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and projects
in a demanding environment.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and
Excel.

set of scripts to execute, rather, working with the Dev team and Users for
functionality, user experience and support across both.



These candidates MUST have experience on Responsive Design Projects and be
able to define their role, what the project's objective was, and they must
have played a part in the testing / UAT of the design (whether they were
pure testers, tester/developers, or even a BA who was involved in
the testing)
