Custtom rendering partial working after Osmand Update

I have written many years ago my own rendering. It worked fine science last 
year. Since last year my settings for the cycle routes are ignored. This is 
a part of the code. All other settings are still working. So what must be 
changed, that my settings for the cycle routes are not ignored anymore.

Two Versions, one folder

['Osmandtrier' via Osmand]

I want to compare  two versions of Osmand. But every version wants to use 
his own folder. I tried to change in the settings of version A the  path to 
the path of version B. But version A denied this change. Any other 
possibilities to use two osmand versions, but using only one folder?

Drag and Drop for via Points

I am still using Osmand 3.2.7. After planning 4000 km for bicycle with 
locus I love the possibility to move the via-points with drag and drop. Is 
this meanwhile also possible in a newer version of osmand?

Customized routing.xml are mixed with standard routing 3.3.2

I am using a customized routing.xml since years. I updated from 3.2.7 to 
3.3.2. If I want to use my navigation settings they are mixed with 
navigations settings, I never created. For example, I do not use altidude 
for routing, but I am offered this option. Some of my options are 
disappeared. And so on.

Measure instrument - route - via points

I create a route with more than one viapoint. Than I start navigation, the 
navigation panel shows only one via point. But I would expect all via 
points in the navigation panel. Is this a bug or is this design?

Das Problem ist, dass ihr sozusagen die Datenbank wechselt. Alles was bei 
google anders geschrieben ist, wird in Osmand nicht gefunden. Bei Straße 
fällt es am ehesten auf. Bei den Googlelinks, die ich ausprobiert habe, 
werden GPS-Koordinaten in der URL mitgeliefert. Vielleicht könnt ihr die 
auslesen.

Anyway in der Googlemapsapp kan man sich auch die Hydranten anzeigen 
lassen, wenn man sie als gpx/KML importiert.

It could be, that is not a problem of ossmand. It ccould be a problem of 
your track. If Osmand add voice hints to a gpx-track, Osmand do not refer 
to the streets. It only refer to the change of the angle of the track. For 
example. The blacklines are the streets, the red line is the gpx track. 
There is no change of the angle, so there is no voicehint.

Danke. Ich habe all die Sachen in den entsprechenden Ordner geschoben. 
Brouter verwendet halt weiterhin den Ordner, den es frühers auch verwendet 
hat. Osmand nicht.

New Android, I can not choose the old mapfolder

I was forced to use Android 5.1 on my device. Before I used Android 4.3.

After reinstalling Osmand with titanium, OSmand did not find the old on 
storage/sdcard1/osmand

So I went to the settings to change the path of the folder. I wrote at the 
manual change storage/sdcard1/osmand. But Osmand ignored this change. I am 
not able to use my old folder at the external SD. What to do?

I do not know whether you have this situation. If you use Brouter in 
Osmand  for the routing, perhaps  you can use a fresh osmandversion for map 
rendering and brouter for routing. I had the experience with a Defy+. 
Maprendering worked, routing of osmand was killing the app. Than Brouter 
did the job of routing in Osmand.

This issue was discussed a long time ago on this list as Android-Pit closed 
the App-Store. Victor did not take part in this discussion. I think because 
he does not care. He was one of the view devs, which did not answer their 
customers. 

One part said, okay we can give you a new version via google play, although 
it is technical hard, the other part said, sorry it is to hard for us. And 
there was a small part, which does not answer. Arrogance, stupidity. I do 
not know.

And there is a mistake. Opening a recorded gpx-file with an other 
gpx-viewer, the other party gpx-viewer shows a different difference of 
altitude than osmand. 

So my idea was, perhaps osmand use the srtm-data. So I replaced the 
recorded elevation-data with srtm-data. I got also a different difference 
of altitude than osmand.

Deleting GPX-Tracks

I have tried yesterday in version 2.6.2 to delete gpx-tracks via dashboard. 
After doing all actions, the gpx track was not deleted. Anyone who have the 
same experience.

In my opinion it is a waste of time correcting this routing file.

Why? I measured some things this morning.

Xperia Z1c

Osmandrouting  needed for a route linear distance 45 km  with default 
settings

Spring 2015 30 sec.
Spring 2017 210 sec.

Using safety and flat 390 sec.

Brouter 

Spring 30 sec regarding elevation
Spring 2017 15 sec. regarding elevation

Benchmark of a singlecore increased in this two years 40 percent. Based on 
comparing S6 and S7.

Xperia Z1c is a little bit better than a S6.

Ich weiß nicht, ob meine Interpretation der Zahlen aus dieser Datenbank 
zutreffen. Aber ich kann mit der Zahl bei Dijkstra  Single Core gut 
vorausberechnen, wie lange mein anderes Phone braucht, um die Route zu 
berechnen. Vielleicht hilft dir diese Datenbank bei den Renderwerten weiter.

Ich habe ein Z1c. Das kam 2015 auf den Markt. Wenn diese Benchmarks etwas 
relevantes aussagen, dann lohnt es sich nicht etwas Neues zu kaufen, weil 
die Single-Core-Leistung nicht sonderlich gestiegen ist.
