[otrs] Unique from address in a model response

2006-06-14 Thread Alina Florea

Hello,

Sorry if I insist with this request. I did not found a solution for
having a unique from address in a model response, in order to use this
model regardless the queue.

Could anyone help me telling me where and what have I do modify in the
configuration?

Thank a lot.

Aina.

Hello all,

I have to create a model response that could be used with the same
from email adresses despite the queue where the ticket belongs to.

For example:

I have two queues: Queue1 and Queue2, each with their own email
address used to send email.

From tickets who are in Queue1, I need to aswer with a model response
that use the email address of Queue2.

This was possible in OTRS 1.3. I have migrated to OTRS 2.0.4 and now
the model witch is supposed to use one single email address to respond
from, is using the address of the queue where the ticket belongs to.

The only workaround founded, was to manualy move the ticket from one
queue to another, to choose the model response, to send the email and
to move back the ticket at his original place. All that, because I
need to have, sometimes, a unique answer from address.

Could anyone help me and tell me what have I to change? And where? ...
or if it still possible in this version?

Thank you in advance for the help.

Alina.

[otrs] Crontab again

2006-05-11 Thread Alina Florea

Hi all,

Because the crontab problem I had is not still resolved, I have tried to
uninstall and to reinstall the crontab for the user otrs.

So, as otrs user (su - otrs) I have checked to have an empty crontab in
order to reinstall the cron.

After that I have launched:

./Cron.sh start

from /opt/otrs/bin

I have this message:

/opt/ptrs/var/tmp/otrs-crpn-tmp.4284: No such file or directory
failed

Can anyone help me with this error message?

Thank you.

Re: [otrs] Also about otrs cronjobs

2006-04-27 Thread Alina Florea

Hi,

To have otrs cron jobs errors read otrs user mail
su -s /bin/bash otrs
mail

I have permission denied when I try this command.

I have also typed:

su otrs
pwd

the result is that I am still as root.

Maybe that is the problem.

Could someone advice?

Thanks in advance.

Where could the problem be? Is there some rights that otrs user has

To force the receive of new emails in OTRS I have add a script in
/etc/cron.hourly lines witch contains the line:

/opt/otrs/bin/PostMasterPOP3.pl /dev/null

The inconevient is that the fetch emails is done only one time in an
hour and the most important is that if I log off from root, I do
not receive any email at all.

In fact I must stay logged in as root in order to have the

What have I change in order to make otrs crontab working or at least

Thank yo for your help.

pwd will give you only the current working directory, which will NOT
be changed by just su. If you want to know who you are, try
whoami. If you want to get the environnement of the user, you should
issue su - otrs (this would bring you to the otrs home directory).
Notice the - which forces the use of the user's environnement,
instead of keeping the previous user's environnement.

[otrs] New ticket configuration

Hi again,

Thank for your replay, Richard. All works fine now.

I have another question:

When I make a new email ticket I don't see the option where I can choose

possible) in order to have this option.

I can choose from my models when I replay to a ticket, but not when

Another question is:
