Re: Nero Question
Hello, DJC. I have Nero. After the Compile a New CD, enter on Next. Arrow down to Data CD then go to Next. The program will aks, Compile a new data CD? Again, go to Next. Then, F for Finish. A blank Iso will show up. Go into the Nero window and then to File Browser. Enter on Browser, then arrow up and down to find the folder you want to select. Select that folder and copy it to Clipboard, then go to iso 1. Paste folder in iso1. Reenter the window and arrow down to Write CD and press Enter. Press Enter on Burn. If, however your folder is too large, the program will warn you and will not start burning. If the folder does not exceed 648mb the burning process will start. A personal note: I got away with burning 700mb of stuff, then later discovered some errors on the discs and some of the affected mp3's would not play at all. So, now I stopped this and am reorganizing and redoing my music collection and am not exceeding the limit anymore. So, you see, I learned the hard way. My burner runs at 52x. Oh, I have my Verifying data checked so the burner will automatically open and close the door when that process begins after burning. I do not know if I am making sense all the way. If I am mixed up about something, it is harder for me to give directions on some of this stuff and much easier to do, since I do this a lot. Take care and have a nice one. Re: Nero Question
You need to select the very first option in the list view. It's actually selected by default. Then you can burn whatever data you want. Re[2]: Nero Question
I'd like to thank all the great people that took time to help me with nero. I was confused because while I had the cd option which is the first option I didn't understand that I had to press the button that says New. Once that fell in to place I became a nero rom burning fool. Thanks again to all for helping. I've finally got it under control. Re: uh oh, installed rockbox again and can't get my music to play help!
what do you have on the player screen? hask some sighted assistance to check this. On Thu, 24 Jun 2004 13:47:16 -0600, you wrote: HELP! Okay, now my music won't play and I have no clue what I'm doing, of course rockbox still won't talk. I figured out I have the FM recorder version 2. I downloaded and unzipped the files. I copied the file that wasn't the.rockbox directory in to the rout directory of my player, then I copied the .rockbox directory in to my player. I also put the .voice file in to the langs folder of the rockbox directory. I unplugged it, cut it off then on. It will spin up then make a noise like it cut off, but the player is still on. The software isn't talking and I can't get my music to play either. Any suggestions? Re: Mading a disc image with Nero Express?
Well first I need to understand exactly what it is you want to do, because your message is a little confusing. When you create an image it doesn't actually copy the tracks to your hard drive. It just creates an image file ready to burn a copy of the original disk to another disk. To rip the individual tracks to your hard drive, you use save track, which I sent the instructions for the other day. Do you need those again, or do you just want to make a copy of the entire disk to another disk? Hello all, I am using CDex 150 for recording analog input from my stereo system. Other than the stereo selection in menus, what other settings might improve my cassette recordings using CDex. Also, I have Winamp 5.03 on my computer and was wondering if I can record analog input using this program, and if so, where does a person go to find out the wheres and hows? I am lost in Winamp. Dumb question......
I'm new to burning CDs, so this is probably a dumb question. When a person is burning MP3 files to a CD to be used in a boombox (MP3 capable) or a car stereo which is CD MP3 capable, can a person set up seperate folders on the CD, or will that render the files unreadable by the equipment? 2 sound cards and Window Eyes.
I am wondering whether any Window Eyes users on this list have found a way to direct Window Eyes (specifically Eloquence) to the default sound card, and then direct Winamp or Total recorder's output through the other sound card. I know it can be done with JFW; however, I seem to recall a message from the GW staff saying that at present it could not be done with Window Eyes. I sure hope my memory has failed me once again. If it can be done, please tell me how. Thanks. RE: rapsody vs emusic.com
Rhapsody is usable enough. If you value play lists more than anything else you may be disappointed. I haven't bothered to try to figure out how to get the play lists working with JAWS. Also, if you need to burn cds or copy the files to a portable player then Rhapsody is definitely a problem. I think they charge too much for burning cds. But if you just want to listen to streaming music and want a good selection and a slightly problematic, but usable interface then Rhapsody might be best. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Scott Sent: Sunday, June 27, 2004 1:03 PM To: PC audio discussion list.
