nero 6.6 tree views not showing everything
Using Jaws 7 and XP home, I am having trouble using Nero 6.6 all of a sudden. It was working fine but now I can't go to the folders in the drive I choose. What it says is, my computer open, 6 items, but instead of the 6 items (which are of course the drives available to me) showing underneath the my computer open thing it shows the 6 drives only when I tab instead of down-arrowing through the tree. So since Nero only gives you so many spaces to tab, I can only get to the drive I want but it doesn't show the folders within that drive so I can select songs. USB SOUND CARDS AND GOLDWAVE
Hi Everyone I have not been subscribing to this list for some time, so apologise if this subject has been covered in my absence. I have tried other lists with no results. I am using Windows XP Professional, a Soundblaster Live soundcard, and Goldwave. I want to be able to record from webstreams or from a cassette player through line-in. However, when I do this, although the track sounds ok while it is recording, it is crackly when played back. I used to have Windows 98, and the problem was much worse. I recently bought a Teratec Aureon 5.1 USB soundcard in the hope that this might solve the problem, but I cannot even get it to communicate with Goldwave. I like using ~Goldwave as it seems to be very accessible. I have tried Total Recorder, but did not like it very much as it did not seem so flexible. There is a link to Total Recorder on the goldwave website, which suggests they know there are some cards which don't communicate very well. Does anyone have any suggestions? Burning Audio cd in Roxio5.30?
Hi. I got a question about burning an audio-cd by using Roxio5.30. I tried to burn an audio cd. I successfully added all the tracks to the cd-project and I was ready to burn the cd. When I got the recording dialog, I was on the Start-button, I thought well, let me check out all the available options before activating the Start-Button. I came to a set of 4-radio buttons regarding the finalization of the cession and the cd, instead of selecting the default radio-button, I checked the radio-button which said something like finalize the cd and the cession, and hit Start-button. My cd was burn successfully. I was able to play all the 6 tracks it in Winamp as well as in Windows Media Player, however, I could not play this cd in Cd DA Extractor6x, where I always play all the audio cds. I am not sure whether this cd would play in the car-cd-player or in the home stereo as I have access to none of those. I personal feel that the cd did not play in cd-da Extractor6 because I did not select the appropriate radio-button when selecting those radio-buttons regarding the finalization of the cession and the cd, what do you think? Re: Burning Audio cd in Roxio5.30?
Correction/Addition. In my original message, I said that I was unable to play the cd in Cd-Da-Extractor, I was wrong. In order to play a cd in cd-da-extractor, I have to be in Cd-Ripper tab of the program, where I was not when I sent the message initially. When I realized this mistake and played it in the right tab, it played just fine. Now my question is, would I be able to play it in the regular cd-player? Thanks! Re: nero
Dan, These instructions came via an email list a while back. I don't use Nero so can't varify their accuracy. Hope they work. burn a cd, follow these steps. 1. Put all the files you want to burn on the cd, doesn't matter if it's data or audio or whatever, put all of them in a folder of your choosing, doesn't matter what it's called. 2. Ok, now go to this folder and do a control plus A to select all, and then do a control plus c to copy them to the windows clipboard. 3. Now go to Nero and open it up to the kind of CD you want to create, like data, or audio or whatever. 4. Once that's done and you hear that it's ready, do a control plus v to paste your files in there. 5. Then go to the file menu and then press enter on write cd... and then press the burn button. There ya go. Works great. - Original Message - From: dan kysor [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Sunday, March 26, 2006 9:24 AM Subject: nero can anyone email me a quick command list to anyone email me a quick list of nero commands basically to burn .wav and select .wav to burn? thx dan Dan Kysor, Director Governmental Affairs California Council of the Blind 225 15th. Re: A Message from the List Sponsor, MosenExplosion.com
Dear Jonathan, Sorry to be so inefficient, but I would like very much to buy you tutorial on the internet; I can't find how to use the Master card provision on your web page. At the place where the three options including Master card given there seems to be no button or link to press spacebar or enter on. This is true even after pressing the log-in button. If you have time I would appreciate further instructions. Thank you! Please feel free to delete. Since I stopped doing main Menu, a lot of people have urged me to produce downloadable tutorials. So in my weekends and evenings, I've been putting my first together. One of the first issues I had to confront was how to secure the content. I investigated a number of options, and eventually came to the conclusion that all of them will disadvantage the people I want to help most, those who struggle with computers. So I've come up with a concept I am calling trustware. It's simple, the only thing stopping you from sharing the tutorial with your friends, is trust. It takes a lot of research, time and energy to put these tutorials together. I've tried to keep the price low in order to keep the price within everyone's reach. So if you like the tutorial, and you'd like to see more produced, please support this effort by not passing it on, and by encouraging others to buy. If I'm being naive and I only sell one or two copies, then obviously this will be the only one I produce. So now the details of this first tutorial. Jonathan Mosen's Get going with Google is a comprehensive two hour audio tutorial unlocking the secrets of the world's most powerful search engine. Have you ever wondered how to search for something on Google while excluding certain common results? Did you know Google can show you who is linking to your blog or other web site? Did you know Google has a thesaurus to help you get the most out of searching? Jonathan Mosen's Get Going with Google unlocks the full potential of Google, with the access technology user in mind. Whether you use a screen reader, a portable device or a stand-alone accessible browsing solution, Jonathan Mosen's Get Going with Google puts you in control of the billions of pages on the world wide web. References are made to JAWS and Window-eyes commands throughout the tutorial, but instructions are also given so that it's easy to translate them into whatever product you use. Talking you step by step through every keystroke, you'll find just how easy it is to become a Google master. Get exactly the search results you want with Jonathan Mosen's Get Going with Google. Re: playing music and talking over it with a u s b mike
You'd deffinatly need to get two soundcards if you're using software speach, otherwise if you engage what you hear with a single multichannel card, your jaws or any software speech will be heard over the broadcast.
